Had it really only been sitting out for 2 hours, I probably would have done the same or just put it in the fridge as is, but it had been more than 2 hours since it was cool enough to go in the fridge, so it had actually been sitting out for closer to 4+ hours. Not only was DH totally off regarding the time since I'd left, he also apparently had no idea I had finished it well before he'd gotten home.
Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. I would have tossed that shit. 4 hours on the counter is NO GO.
s/o food safety. H will eat two week old leftovers. OMG. As long as it's not growing things, he thinks its fair game. No. No. No. I have to make sure I throw things out after a week or he WILL eat them.
Eew. DH is the opposite. If it's been in the fridge for 2 days, he's wondering if it's still good. I can't tell you how many times he's had me smell the lunchmeat because he thinks its "iffy."
I know! I'm depressing myself because I don't even know if I'll go out to celebrate. I went to a wedding when V was 6 weeks, but I can't imagine leaving R just yet! I don't know why. Maybe I'll change my mind by then.
How fun you and R are birth year buddies you will both be 0 this year.
I booked a special date for DH and I at the a place called Muse Paint bar. You do a painting and they have a bar you can drink while you are doing it. DH is super artistic so he is so excited. I also made reservations at a new restaurant for before the painting!!
Unsalted saltines are just wrong. Maybe in soup they're ok but the soup is missing from my lunch tray.
Yuck! Are they going to let you go home soon?!
Apparently when my nurse said my ob would be by later, she really meant it. He's not on until 8pm. I'm here tonight for sure. Realistically I do know this is probably the best place for me. It still sucks.
My blood pressure has been great while I've been here, but they've been taking it while I lie on my left side. This morning my nurse took it sitting. It was 146/94, she had me lie down and less than 5 minutes later it was 134/74. That's a big drop for just a position change, it is pretty obvious that bed rest is required.

I have been there several times and I LOVE it!!
Glad to here you loved it! I'm a little nervous because painting is not my thing but everyone keeps telling me it doesn't matter!

It totally doesn't matter! My H is super artistic, so I was excited for him... and nervous for myself. But they are super helpful, and walk you through everything. It is a wicked chill vibe, too.
And, if all else fails, you can do what one lady did while I was there - paint your canvas blue and just go crazy painting flowers, LOL!

I'm sorry. Can they visit you? At least you're almost done.

They came yesterday but I heard there is someone across the hall with the "flu" I think they mean a stomach bug not influenza but either way I don't want to knowingly expose him. The nurses agreed it was best that he stayed away. I've been keeping my door closed.
I will FaceTime before bed and have them send me pictures.

That's too bad. Thank goodness for technology.
Has your doctor given you any indication of a timeline?

On Monday he agreed keeping me pregnant a little longer was smart. Now with all the labs/urine/bp I'm half expecting he will schedule an induction sooner than later. He gets in around 8 tonight. My nurse thinks he will come by before heading to L&D but it's still a waiting game right now.
Nope...it has almost a month. We get good feedback, but no one thinks my "palace" is the one yet I suppose, lol. I was hoping to spruce up my landscaping this week before the open house, but it is raining today, I work late tomorrow, and then DH is out Friday night. Boo... How is the great house purge/fix up going for you?
It will happen for you! Stinks you have to keep up with the cleaning though. And sounds like landscaping won't work out before the weekend, but you've done so much work already so I wouldn't worry about it. What does your realtor say is the average span of time to sell in your area?
We are moving along quite well! Purge is 95% done, phew! A big storage space is totally filled up. This weekend my sister is going to watch M for a good chunk of time so H and I can get the remaining projects done. And next weekend will be the deep clean before the photographer comes. I saw a groupon for a cleaning service...I might buy it.
I'm sick, which means I missed out on hanging out with TrudyCampbell and AndyCohen today. Also, I'm more miserable when I'm laying in bed and most miserable when I'm sleeping, which is bizarre and stupid.

Boo! Rest up lady! You have to feel better by Sunday!

It also means we both missed out on drinking prosecco this afternoon!

I must have some wonky virus. I've basically had a low grade fever every night since Thursday. As soon as 5 o'clock rolls around, I start getting cramps and feeling pukey and getting the poops. I've barely eaten in a few days. Starving, but can't eat. I may have a fever during the day, but I'm too busy to notice. I'm tired of feeling crappy.
