I can't even see my stretch marks anymore. I can, however, see my giant, flabby love handles.
You are only 3w post partum though! You should still be flabby! Perfectly normal. You only have 10lb to lose from ruby?
Only 6.4 as of this morning! I'd like to lose 10 on top of that though to get to a pre-Violet weight. For the near future I'd just be happy to lose the Ruby weight though.
This girl is a little eating machine. Maybe BFing will do me right this time.

6lb to go is awesome for 3w pp! How much did you gain total?
i feel like I will lose 20 from the birth but I'm not sure if I am remembering right. I think I lost 20 after Matilda then the last 10-12 took a few months.

I gained at least 25. My last weigh in was a week prior to giving birth but I did some major damage in that final week. Remember the 25 mini cupcakes that I had as a small snack? Lol
I only lost like 12-15 giving birth which I felt wasn't nearly enough. But I did gain like 1000 pounds of breast.

12-15, nooo! That's not enough!
My boobs are already huge, I don't want them to get bigger
TrudyCampbell- I can't believe you only have 6 lbs to go! Damn I need to get in the ball. I gained 40 lbs with Lucas and I am only down 16 after a week and a half. I was hoping to be down at least 20. Boo!
Emerson Kate, born 38w5d on 4/6/12 at 6:02 p.m., 5 lbs 13 oz and 18 3/4 inches. Lucas Matthew, born 39w5d on 4/11/14 at 8:20 a.m., 7 lbs 4 oz and 20 inches.

I was wondering the other day what would happen if the next in line to be queen pregnant went into labor before the queen. Does she get the crown until giving birth and then has to give it back?

Clearly I'm over thinking this.
I've thought about this too, because I clearly have too much time on my hands. I'm having a RCS on the day before lolaburns due date, but technically she'll be more pregnant than me. Will I only get to wear the crown for the few hours I'm in the hospital before the c-section?
Wow, you don't look a day over 38 weeks pregnant! J/K as I have no idea what that even means but hoping to meet babylaurack soon! Sooner than 2 weeks soon.
I want to throw things at you, TrudyCampbell, lol. I gained FIFTY TWO pounds with C. And 6 months later, I still have 9 of them. You will have that 6 plus the other ten gone in no time at all. And you look amazing.

I'm on team "sex is not worth it". We did it once and it resulted in me complaining throughout the entire thing that it was taking too long. Spoiler alert: that didn't make it end any quicker.

I was thinking it's been so long since I had sex my vagina has probably closed up, so maybe I should have sex just to stretch it out a but.
THEN I was thinking ... A penis is not a watermelon.
best not to bother. To be honest the idea of it is so abhorrent to me right now I'd rather be pregnant two more weeks. I may change my mind in a week though
I looked up the hospital's guidelines for elective induction, and there's a lot of paperwork to send over. Hopefully he/the nurse is just busy with that and they are going to call or email after it's done? The patient portal (email) thing did say allow up to 48 hours for a response, I am just impatient. I might call if it starts getting close to the end of the day to see if the nurse has gotten a chance to talk to him.
I did see that the hospital will schedule up to 5 inductions (medically indicated and elective combined) per day, so that makes me feel like getting a spot shouldn't be too hard.
Maybe the stress of waiting will just put you in labor?
I've been looking back at the photos of Matilda in the hospital and it's making me cry! She is so big now, and this baby will not be her but a different baby... I will never get her baby days back! Aaaagh hormones. She was so beautiful! She is so beautiful. I just love her so much. And now I'm going to ruin her life.

Waaaahhhhh
WHAT IS IN THIS TEA???
You're not going to ruin her life! The rest I will not dispute, haha.
Ruby is only 3 weeks old and I already miss her days as a tiny little newborn. And she IS a tiny little newborn! I am insane. I can remember exactly how her skin felt when they first handed her to me and I'm so sad that it's over.
