Wearing flats without stinky feet

Anyone have a problem with their flats stinking at the end of the day? What do you do to combat this?

I am currently using some knockoff store brand foot powder before I wear them but it isn't working and I'm not sure if it is because it is a knock off or if I just have really stinky feet! Any tips or tricks?

I can't wear flats because of this. I get maybe one use out of them before they get so stinky that they are distracting.

Mine smell so bad, and I have yet to find a fix. Sometimes at night when I kick them off, I am surprised they do not clear the room (huh)

I use to use powder back in the day with my heels, it helped a little but was also a little messy

I have terry cloth-esque inserts.

This happens to me too. I think I used a Dr. scholl's spray? It was a yellow bottle.

I have a deodorant that I use just on my feet for when I wear flats. Not sure if that is good to do put it works....

I have terrible foot stink but it doesn't stop me from wearing flats!

I have 2 ideas:

1. You can buy washable inserts and stick them in your shoes. That way the foot sweat is mostly absorbed into the inserts and not the shoe. Like this: www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B001G0NSU2/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1398282516&sr=8-1&pi=SY200_QL40

The annoying part about inserts is finding where they are if you have multiple pairs of flats. Half the time I can't find which pair of shoes I left them in and just go without.

2. Spray them with disinfectant like Lysol. Kind of gross but it works if you stay on top of it. Think bowling alley.

I put baking soda in the bottom of them and shake it out in the morning. Can be messy, but does the job.

Ugh I tried those stupid socks that only stretch over your toes, they drove me nuts and I always end up only having socks over my toe and the heel is scrunched up under my foot.

Oh yeah, I have no ideas on how to solve the stinky feet problem. I have thrown out a few pairs because of this.

I was just feeling irritated by this today! I can't wear open toed shoes at work so flats it is. My feet have been so gross and sweaty lately!

Powder is the only thing that works for me, and not great, plus it's messy.

I use the tiny socks you can't see then they don't get as sweaty.

I have concluded that it is impossible.

Some people just have stinky feet and no amount of powder or lotion or potion will stop your feet from smellimg if you have really bad problem.

Cheap or expensive shoes, it doesn't matter. I have tried everything!

I wore my Toms with socks today .  Like, black socks with my dark grey Toms.  It really wasn't noticeable with the pants I was wearing, but still.   There were two reasons for the socks: 1)  it was in the 30s when I left the house this morning and 2) foot sweat.  How my feet sweat when it's that cold out, I'll never know.  I regret nothing.
