Hair Advice: Short/Long, Blonde/Brown

I am thinking of cutting my hair short again....but I've also considered going back to blonde this summer.

H said I can only go short again if I go blonde again. Haha. I do love my brown hair and sometimes when I look at pics of me with blonde hair I think I look terrible.

Here are some pictures. Obviously, these are pictures where I think I look good with both types of hair. PDQ the pictures because I will probably DD them later.

Feel free to add any other ideas if you think I should do something totally different.

I've also considered going back to my natural for the ease of it. It's hard to find good salons overseas. My natural looks kinda like this...but I am also Irish so I have red tints in it that I can never get rid of, even with dying.

Do you have to worry about harassment with having blonde hair still in your area?

What's easier in terms of upkeep? I'm lazy, so I'd just do whatever's easier.

I think in saudi I wont because I'll be on compound most of the time which is no harassment. And in public I can just wear the hijab (head scarf) if I feel targeted.

Going natural would be easiest. Blonde would be easy if I didn't do high lights like I used to. Brown is kind of a pita. My hair grows fast and I feel like the dye they use over here is terrible for hair and I'm having to dye it at least every 6 weeks.

I would go for short and natural/blonde.  It's good to switch it up sometimes

It is kind of a dirty/sandy darker blonde, with red tints.

I think I'm the loner in long and dark.

My aunt lives in Dubai and she doesn't like most of the beauty products they have. So every year when she comes back to Seattle during the summer she loads up on everything to take back with her and she has just learned to do everything on her own.

I vote long. Because I always cut my hair short, regret it majorly, and then have to deal with growing it out again. And I love either the blonde, or natural with blonde highlights. I think in general people look best with whatever hair color they either have naturally or had as a little kid, but with your coloring you can pull off either. Or maybe reddish highlights? I think your darker color needs some dimension for sure..

That's true. I've never added highlights or dimension because that's even harder to maintain. Also, I do not trust the stylists over here with highlights. All over color is the most I will trust...
