Skinny jeans on little girls -- what shoes?

I just got DD1&2 some skinny jeans in their next size. I imagine they won't wear them much in summer, but if they did, what shoes do I have them wear them with? (in winter they would wear them with boots). They have sneakers and sandals, but no other weather-appropriate shoes.

Whatever shoes my kid will willingly put on.

Lately that's rainboots..ha.

I vote sandals or low profile tennis shoes when I get a choice. Ballet flats are cute too, but they're kind of hard for kids to keep on and stay comfy in.

ditto @justdairy whatever DD will put on. She wore boots a lot in the winter which was cute, but really I didn't care if she wore her nike sneakers. I just wanted something she could put on herself that had Velcro

I am all for whatever my kid will put on. In the summer I like the shoes that she doesn't have to wear socks with or tennis shoes. My DD is a girlie girl her shoes don't always go with her dress that she is wearing. She also loves to play outside so it really doesn't matter. In the winter she likes to wear her cowboy boots.

DD wears flats, flip flops, or boots with hers. Unless it is gym day and she rocks her tennis shoes with them.

I fall into the whatever my kid wants to put on. Rainboots, tennis shoes, play may janes that have more of a sneaker sole, keens.

DD1 is a little clumsy and we have lots of stubbed toes and tripping in open toe sandals and she complains about flats pinching her feet.

I don't think it matters. I'd rather my kid be comfortable, than have cute stylish shoes that hurt her feet.

Ok good suggestions! Thank you! they never owned skinny jeans before (and I don't either), so I wasn't sure if it is a huge faux pas to wear them with sneakers. Maybe I will pick up some cute ballet flats for them as well to wear on non-school days

Whatever she picks out. Its also been rainboots here or her ugly Payless Minnie Mouse tennis shoes.

DD has Sperrys she wears with hers, sometimes mary janes, etc. Whatever I can convince her to wear!

Ditto littlespitfire, we wear Converse Chucks or pumas or boots in fall/winter.
