Ugh, I've been worrying about seeming smug for wanting to put "no gifts please" on my kids' invite this year. At least I won't be as bad as this?
I totally don't think it is smug because I also do "no gifts." Honestly I think people prefer it lol. I love the idea that i don't have to go shopping for someone that I am sure has about everything.
Plus my kids have so much stuff. I just want their little friends or our friends to come over and celebrate.
I have a friend that does this every year for her birthday. She does a crayfish boil and gets mad if her friends don't pony up the cash to help the cost. :?
This is my cousin. She's thrown herself pot-luck style parties for her graduation, housewarming, and birthday (BYOB in addition to a dish). With the housewarming party she posted a target registry.
