I normally post on ML, and I just found out I'm pregnant this week. I took my first test on Sunday with a very faint BFP. Took a second test with a stronger BFP yesterday morning. Yesterday afternoon I went to get labs done, and today my doctor's office called to confirm that I am pregnant.
This is my first child, and I will be 29 when baby is born. I checked out my bmb board on the.bump and decided to stick with GBCN .
Is it too early for stupid questions? I've been spotting for almost a week now. I have no cramping/discomfort, so I'm not totally freaked out about it, but a little nervous. I called OBGYN today to schedule my first appointment, which is set for 5/14. Should I call back and tell them about spotting?
I'm due barely before you (12/25), and had some spotting before my BFP and today. My doctor said to call back if I had more, so I did. So, I guess my input would be to call.
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.
I bet you can just talk to a nurse! That's who called me back; I emailed my doctor because that's how our system works. She just said to do pelvic rest and take it easy until my ultrasound next Friday. Hope that helps!
ETA: Is that a pic of you running as your avatar? I'm a runner too, and she suggested I take it easy and just walk this next week. Eek!

Don't mind me! My situation might be different, as I'm 6 weeks now. I've read spotting can be for tons of different reasons.

Welcome and congratulations. I agree with the recommendations to call. When in doubt call that is my philosophy and my doctor's office supports it 100%.
I called OB and the nurse is consulting with the doctor on call when she gets a chance. She was asking me about my blood type and the numbers from my blood pregnancy test (which I don't know, and GYN is closed already) and I'm panicking that this is a chemical pregnancy. Based on 0 facts, of course.
Try to relax! Is it brown spotting, or pink? I think there's so many reasons for spotting, and the fact that you haven't started bleeding is a good sign. I realize it's easier said than done, but I am definitely in the same boat. I'm on hold until next Friday.

Thanks. I'm calming down. I think I just expected her to say it's fine and move on. They haven't seen me yet, so it makes sense they want to see me.
Most discharge is brown and it has slowed down a lot. Occasionally, it is red, but not super bright.
