In my first trimester I had a food aversion to apples among other things. Immediately if I ate a apple it would come back up.
I bought some organic apple slices from Trader Joe's on Sunday to eat with the cookie butter. Yum! Lol! And Monday after work I'm happy to report that I had apple slices and cookie butter. The best news of all I was able to keep it down. Woo-hoo!
Trying to think happy ... Today I am 35 weeks and that feels like a milestone to me. And I think I've found the magic cocktail to curb a lot of my nightly heartburn with a combo of Zantac 75 in the morning, Zantac 150 at night, and cutting out all coffee and soda (sad about the no coffee part but it's just a few weeks and it's worth it to get through the night with little to no heartburn).
I ate peaches and cottage cheese for breakfast this morning! Its my favorite breakfast food. I've been afraid to eat it since the nausea has been overwhelming the past month, but today I felt up for it, and OMG was it good! Thanks baby for liking it!
Had a dating ultrasound/NT scan yesterday and they put me at 12w 1 d. Baby looked good and DH announced on FB.
Thankful for a healthy baby and that we're going on an AI vacation on Saturday where there's a daycare and kid's club. Woo hoo! I guess this is our babymoon for #3?
My second trimester screening is scheduled for later today. I was surprised that my husband was all excited about it and he even woke up early to go to work so that he can leave early and go with me.
I am also thankful that I haven't puked yet today!
I am thankful that the first daycare center we saw (last night) will actually have space for 2 babies in January. My biggest fear was that no places would have room for us. We have three more places to tour before we make our decision but at least we know we have an option!
I'm grateful that I'm still feeling really, really good. I'm not supposed to be having an easy pregnancy, but I will certainly take it.
I'm also feeling a lot better about my physical appearance - I've either grown into my belly or it's grown into me. In a way, I feel like I look better now than I did prior to getting pregnant.
My ILs at my baby shower gave me a check specifically to use on something nice for me. (Yes, they rule.) I just booked a prenatal massage. I am STOKED.
I got the test results back from my 1 hr gluclose test last night and I passed! The Dr had me take the test early because diabetes runs in my family and I had a slightly high reading a couple years ago. I'll be taking it again at 24 weeks.
NBR: I had my performance review at work and I found out that I'm getting a big promotion and raise! I'm not sure how much more it will be but I'm excited to have a little more cash on hand for when the LO arrives.
Thankful to still be pregnant! I have been using my Doppler more than I said I would and am so comforted by the heartbeat. Every day, I think "This is the furthest any of my babies has ever made it."

Congrats on both! I have my glucose test in a few weeks and I would LOVE to pass the 1 hour test and not have to take the 3 hour test.
I am thankful to be pregnant today! Also thankful for my u/s appointment in a few hours that will hopefully add to more of my thankfulness and appreciation for this pregnancy! Today will be the furthest we have seen any of our babies viable on an u/s!
ETA: Baby is doing great! Measuring right on track, strong heartbeat, and lots of movement! We saw one arm move across the torso...DH missed it the first time but we were able to get the baby to do it again! Very fun and memorable appointment! Couldn't be more happy or thankful right now!
Saw our baby boy again today for a biophysical profile - we had a NST and an u/s. He has the chubbiest cheeks and is doing great!! So, so thankful for that.
Our family and friends have been so generous with baby gifts that we're pretty much set. We bought all the big stuff (bob, travel system, nursery furniture) but everything else has been pretty much gifts including the mamaroo and PnP. We've had 3 showers already and 2 left - this is a very loved baby.

I'm thankful I've had pretty good energy and little nausea. I'm also thankful we're in a position to put our house on the market by June 1 with the help of my mom who has offered to her services in getting the house ready to list. Homes in Denver are selling in minutes (ok, a handful of days) so we're really lucky to have a lot of equity in our home to help get us in the next house.
Also thankful that the house we are in love with has been on the market for a while...it needs a lot of work and it's also in a price point that isn't moving as fast. So maybe by the first part of June we can write an offer
Oh, I thought of another! A few weeks back I confessed that I didn't really enjoy the baby movements, but I've come around on that. I think he had so much space in there that it felt like he had turned my ute into a mosh pit. Now the movement is more controlled. I think I'm the weirdo that had a really awkward second tri and is in more of a groove in the third tri.
At my doctor's appointment on Monday, the nurse said he was pressing his butt up into her hand. Y'all, one of our dogs does that, LOL!
Ooo miss.colorado, exciting! I love looking at house pictures. I think I'd really enjoy a career in real estate if it weren't for the whole sales thing.

Good luck! I chugged the drink and washed it down with water. It was both tart and sickeningly sweet at the same time.

Real estate is fun...but I 100% agree with you on the sales thing. Hunting for new business is exhausting. I love looking at house photos too.....squeeeeeee!!
I am thankful for my husband and his willingness to help me clean. We are both so busy and tried all the time but when we come together to reach a goal I love the outcome.
I am thankful that so far I am having a healthy pregnancy.
