We got ours in November and it cost $8K. It didn't include AC but did include replacing all of our ducts and redoing the furnace venting so it vented properly. Unfortunately they didn't break the cost down into ducts/furnace. The other quote we got was $3k, but included a lot less work -no duct work, no changes to the venting, just a basic swap.

Do you notice a difference (heat-wise or bill wise)? I've been thinking about getting someone out to look at all our jacked up ducting once we are though moving everything around.

Yes and no. Our house is heated far more evenly because our ducts are not jacked up anymore. And it's quieter and heats the house faster and I feel better knowing all the asbestos us out of the house safely.
But our bill wasn't dramatically different. Maybe $30 less? But- with our mild winters and low proced natural gas, gas was not a huge bill anyway KWIM? It's kind of like when we got the solar quotes. Our energy use is really low- so the savings on our energy bill is never going to be a driving factor.
I think we took our gas bill down as much as possible without insulating our attic and walls. That's are our biggest energy efficiency issue now.
