I used to play Canasta a lot, but it's been so long I don't remember how to play at all. But it's a GREAT game, lots of fun once you figure out the strategy.
I LOVED Canasta. I too forget how to play, but it was one of the only games we could get my dad to play, so we played it a lot when I was little. I remember desperately trying to hold all of the cards in my tiny hands. lol
Really?? You don't have any other D&D-level games on your list, and with the exception of this one, I feel like I would thoroughly enjoy a game night at your house. We bought Munchkin and literally did not make it through the directions. I assumed you had to be the type that played D&D or Magic to appreciate it, but maybe not? Is it worth giving another shot..?

I don't play D&D or really any other games like that. Which Munchkin did you get? We learned on Munchkin Impossible, then branched out to The Good, The Bad and The Munchkin, and now we love Munchkin Apocalypse. I think some decks are more difficult to play on than others. The decks with powers - Super Munchkin, Munchkin bites - are a little more complicated.
I'd totally give it another shot. We have tons of fun with it, especially since we got cutthroat and started killing people as much as possible, lol.
Ummm I guess maybe it was an early one? I don't think it had a type, it was just "Munchkin." I'll give it another shot next time we have people over. Thanks!
