TripIt Trip List and a white noise app for my iPod (in conjunction with the Bose headphones and an eye mask, they help me pretend that I'm not cramped on a plane!)
This particular one works really, really we'll. like accurate to .2 of the airport scale.
I always leave .5lbs and I've never had a problem of my bags being over weight once I check them.
I seriously love this scale.
I may need to invest in one of these. My last trip involved me weighing myself and then my H handing me my suitcase. For what it's worth it was correct I was 2lbs from being over.

That's what my husband always does. But it is quite a balancing act, and we don't trust our scale enough to rely on it so we always round down.
We love our goPro Hero 3 Black Edition camera and our Nikon AW100 (current edition is the AW120) camera since they are good both above and below the water.
I just remembered our newest acquisition in travel gadgetry...
A tiny USB-powered wireless router
Similar to this one: www.amazon.com/Arrival-HooToo%C2%AE-TripMate-Wireless-Powered/dp/B00HZWOQZ6/ We bought it because some of our hotels in Japan only had wired internet, but then we realized that for some of the big chain hotels where you have to log in on every device, it's easier to just log in once and then use it for all our phones, tablets, and laptops.

I wish we'd had a luggage scale on our recent trip ... we hardly ever fly for vacation, but we went to the West Coast and MH stocked up on beer bottles that we can't find back home. He stressed out a lot while packing because our airline had a 50-lb. weight limit for checked baggage and he was positive that we'd exceeded it. Luckily the bags came out to 43 lbs. apiece! Then of course we were kicking ourselves for cramming more stuff into our carry-ons.
I was planning on buying him a luggage scale for his birthday a couple weeks before our trip, and at the last minute I decided that it probably wasn't necessary. I will definitely bookmark this scale and get it for him the next time we fly someplace!
