And cutting my grass. I laughingly said I would pay 80.00 for the month to anyone that would be interested. Uhh.. He just showed up. I'm kind of lol but at the same time he is a Trainee and I just got paranoid this looks bad. Hmmm.
Well, he was already here so now he's cutting the grass.

I live in a well known house, everyone that I work with that lives in my area knows my house because it is big and a lot of people pass by it going to work. I think you are right about not sounding as joking as I thought I did but I am still shocked because everyone was laughing about it and no verification. He doesn't even have my phone number.
Well, lesson learned. Don't say it unless you mean it.
Also, did he bring his own mower? Or did he break into your garage to use yours without your knowledge?
He knocked on the door and I expressed my surprise that he was there but said if he really wanted to do it than go ahead. I did have the cash and I opened the garage door so he could use my lawn mower.
When I was younger I used to mow my old Watch supervisor's lawn for beer so I didn't think it was a big deal. Then after he got here I felt paranoid about it a little bit and posted here. Not paranoid about him he is just a nice kid I think. Just about the perception.

Also, different co worker had a co worker's son mow his lawn for 20.00. That is how this whole thing started. Like o said, I won't make the same decision twice.
