I would notice, but I wouldn't mention it to the cleaning people. It takes no effort whatsoever to grab the appropriate pillow at bedtime.
Well we have two pillows that are in sham pillow cases and two that are softer for sleeping. Inevitably both of mine end up in shams or regular cases, so then to make the bed with pillows on the right side we have to swap the cases around. It's kind of silly, but kind of annoying too.

In that case I'd ask them not to touch the pillows in the shams, and pointing out what you mean. I'd also be distinguishing them somehow, like with a different pillow protector.
It depends. We each have a fluffy pillow and a flat pillow. If they just switched the set I'd have no idea, but if I had two of the same type I'd notice right away.
I have a round pillow that I like to hug while I sleep, but the cats roll it around during the day anyway so it is never where I left it.
Absolutely. DH will steal mine in the morning after I get out of bed, and I can always tell immediately if he put the wrong one back when I go to bed that night.
If I came into your house and swapped your pillows with your significant others'--would you notice?
I ask because our cleaning people just put them back on at random and we always have to fix them. Maybe we are the only weird ones with 4 different pillows to meet our unique sleep needs? I feel weird specifying this to them.
I do not notice.
H does. Every single time the cleaning people come and moves them around.
Trying for #3; FET 8/18 -- BFN. Leaving things up to chance for now... After three years, three IVFs, and two FETs, we finally have our miracle babIES!
Definitely. I sleep with no less than 5 pillows with 3 extra pillows that live next to my bed that are all of varying thicknesses and hardness. I swap them out depending on how my back is feeling that day. DH has 1 pillow that is a very specific type and his alone.
Yes I would notice. DH and I have completely different pillows. I wouldn't say anything to the cleaning people though. I would just put the pillows back in the right places.
We have identical pillows but yes I can tell the difference between them. They smell different and I (might be a little nuts but) don't want to put my face where his face oils have smothered all over.
H doesn't notice anything...even if the sheets have completely come out and are bunched up on the bed. Drives me nuts!
Yes. And if we are talking about pillows, I bought the most amazing ones at costco for practically nothing. Years of sleeping in the same icky one because I couldn't find a good one and there they were at costco.
