Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.

I'm in the same boat. Unexplained IF. Everything came back within normal limits. I don't want to do clomid and that's the next step. I keep putting off the appt in hopes that this will be the month....
Can you talk your doctor into doing a TRH Stimulation Test? My prolactin and tsh used to vary, but the doctors never took it seriously because it would always fall barely within the normal range. It took my RE a couple of years to notice that my prolactin was either borderline-high or borderline-low. He was able to diagnose me with idopathic-prolactinoma (i.e no tumor) after doing a TRH stimulation test and watched my prolactin go off the charts. I got pregnant (and stayed pregnant this time) within 2 weeks of starting cabergoline.

Thanks ladies. We're not interested in pursuing medical intervention at all, so the bloodwork/SA results are really just to give us closure - which is why it's frustrating that the levels are good. If nothing is wrong, all we're left with is a steaming pile of crappy questions.
Your TSH level sounds high to me. I know they try to keep mine less than 2.
What she said.
I'm in this camp too.
I have hypothyroidism and have been on meds since pre-TTC. The recommendation for TSH while TTC is between 1.0-2.0. The reason for this is because once you get pregnant the baby relies on your thyroid for the first trimester. Mine was always low 1.0 pre-pregnancy and jumps very quickly to above 2.0 (measured the day after a positive test). Once pregnant you have to increase your meds. Some doctors do a 20% daily increase but for this pregnancy my RE has me double on Mondays and Thursdays and it's working (TSH is 1.38).
I would definitely consider speaking to an endocrinologist or better yet a RE about these results. You never know, this could make all this difference.
Sorry that your results came back as unexplained. We had that after our second loss and it sucks.
Praying that it does happen for you guys soon! ((Hugs))

Yes, and not to scare you, but there's a good chance my first miscarriage was due to not being on thyroid meds pre-TTC. I got on them 2 days before my BFP, but I don't think that was enough time for the meds to do what they're supposed to do.
So I'd really pursue the TSH level thing no matter what. Thyroid is so easy to control and it's just a simple pill every morning!
