A will not stop eating croutons. She is a fiend for them. She almost finished a whole bag yesterday and is working on the rest now. She absolutely freaks out if I hide them or don't let her have them. I'm choosing my battles and this is just not one of them.

Good call. My son sometimes walks around and munches on a loaf of bread.

I wouldn't die on either of these hills.
DS has a facination with chips... potato or tortilla. As long as they're crunchy and not too spicy, he'll eat them. So I lay chips on a plate and put his dinner on the chips. Whatever. He eats the meat and the vegetables, he just gets a side of chips with them.

I reminded my brother that not EVERYONE on his wedding guest list is going to be there and he should probably remember that when he's trying to assign jobs to extended family members... 18 months from the wedding date and he is already telling me that our nieces and nephews are going to be in charge of cleaning up the reception area and the kitchen. But don't worry, he'll have someone come and let them know when they're doing the toasts or cutting the cake so they don't feel like they're missing out on anything.

Goddammit. DH just lost one of his jobs. Boss hired him in April knowing he had no experience, and just fired him because he doesn't like working with someone who has no experience.
His second job is lame but it keeps the bills paid. The poor guy just feels so defeated though.

I am honestly kind of offended at the fact that he thinks our teenage nephew is going to travel up from Nevada, on horrible roads, and possibly miss a tournament that will make him ineligible to wrestle at the state level (He took 1st in state last year and is working toward a wrestling scholarship), just so that he can clean up after a bunch of people he doesn't know for his uncle's wedding...
And I'm annoyed that he flat out told me that he's expecting some great wedding gifts, and that there are people that he's only inviting FOR the gifts... Um, dude, you're getting married the day after Christmas. Who has money the day after Christmas??

Well they need to learn to budget! 'Cause his wedding is supposed to be the event of the year and stuff. And it is all about him and maybe the fiancé.

(Yes, this is laced with sarcasm)
He told me that most of the things they're registering for will be on sale for black Friday so it shouldn't be an issue.
Also, my brother and his FI don't have a registry (September wedding). It is annoying. Don't make me guess what you want! Just tell me what you need so I can buy you something useful.
