Even though I gave my notice over a month ago, my boss still has not posted my job. This is a problem. I said I would stay through summer to help train the new person, and the other processing person is about to have surgery and be out 3-6 weeks so she won't be able to do training. I just need to remind myself this is not my problem anymore.
We finally had the time to plant one of the trees that was supposed to be planted last weekend. Maybe we'll get to the other one tonight.
Although a local nursery is better, if you have to order plants online, I highly recommend Hirt's Gardens. I order 4 hops plants there on Sunday, the package was delivered yesterday, and I have 4 healthy plants.
I have a dentist appointment this afternoon. Wish me luck!

Hi! I am new to this board! I used to be on this board (on the place that shall not be named lol) about 5 years ago when I bought my first house. I sold that house and built a brand new house. First walk through is today. Hopefully close next friday! Then LOTS of decorating and buying stuff (new house is 2x as big as old house)

Your job is being crazy, but it's not your problem. Leaving my last job was like that. They f'd up so bad and ended up losing the grant that had funded my position.
I ordered from Hirts a few months ago. I'm really happy with my plants, however just a heads up: I had to keep mine inside for a couple weeks because it wasn't warm enough yet and they all ended up covered in a variety of aphids that I had to battle before planting them outside. I was more than a little annoyed after a few days of spraying off all the plants in the utility sink.
Eta: I forgot to add my random. My phone keeps prompting the name "Peter" as the next word I want. The is no reason for this. I don't know anyone with that name and don't think I've needed to type it before.
I really like the music in Sheriff Callie. It's catchy & cute.
Oh my gosh, we watch TOO MUCH Sheriff Callie in this house. Although right now it's because I send DS (almost 3) to the living room a few times a day to watch an episode so I can work on packing!

I hear you!! In our house it's all Disney all the time. Its getting so bad that even when the kid leaves the room, it's still on! Because I'm so used to the background noise I don't even notice it...

This is freaking hilarious. I'm only imagining how this would go in our house ...
Do you want to go out for Peter? What's for Peter? Ok! Love Peter!

I have a customer who is somewhat prickly. I kind of dread his emails and seeing him face to face. This week he asked me for an estimate on some pruning work. I gave him such an astronomical estimate I was sure he'd hire someone else. Today he scheduled the work.
H and I got into with my neighbors over stupid sh*t. It was sad and hilarious at the same time.
On one hand I'm crying. We didn't mean to upset them and they're really pretentious. On the other, The F word is not how rational grown adults solve problems. Esp. if you are pretentious as you make yourself out to be.
And if I had a third hand, It'd be saying "I'm sorry my dairy farm is ruining your idyllic country life."
We own the situation (because it's ridiculous and not all that bad) but people are weird.
