I would like to dress up as Josephine this year. Since neither DD nor DH are interested in rounding out my costume, I have decided that the baby, whether it's a boy or a girl, will be Napoleon. The idea of this completely cracks me up, but we'll see how well I can execute it...
If all else fails, I still have a 6-month-sized cow costume that DD wore for her first Halloween.
I'm considering a bee and a ladybug, but maybe I'll get inspired to do something more creative. I don't want to spend a fortune but the cute is oh-so-tempting.

We found a bee costume in the size we THINK she'll be by Halloween on clearance a few months ago, so that's what she's going to be this year. I know, really creative...
I really want to get coordinating costumes for DD and our dog. (yeah, I know). If she was a boy, she would have been a firefigther and our yellow lab would be a dalmation. I also saw a circus lion tamer costume, and then our dog would be the lion, but I think we'll save that for when she is older. I need ideas for a 6 month old!
Why can't your girl dress up as a firefighter??
Oh she can, I guess I just wanted to save if for a boy because our boy name is Jack, named after my grandfather who was a fireman, so I thought it would be a nice nod to him. (They also always had Dalmatians.) I didn't mean it in a "girls can't be fire(wo)men" way.
We bought a robot costume for $5 the week after Halloween last year. It will definitely fit him come October as it's a bubble costume. You know, they practically wear a bib costume bubble and their little legs poke through the bottom.
It wasn't my top choice, but DH picked it out. I'm happy there's no stressing or planning this year.

DD will be about 6 months on Halloween. No clue about costumes yet but it is okay if we take her trick or treating around our cul-de-sac and I eat all the candy, right? RIGHT??

I'm going to go ahead and say, absolutely! Because that's what I plan on doing as well

DD1 and DD2 want to dress up as Anna and Elsa. Go figure, lol. I think it would be hilarious if I could find an Olaf costume for DD3 to wear with them. If not, she'll just wear a hand-me-down PBK flower costume that her sisters wore.

My daughter went as an age appropriate Katy Perry a few years ago. She was seriously obsessed with her. Last year she went as a peacock.
DS went as an owl last year. The year before we were lazy (he was just under a year) and he went as a rocker. We put some gel in his hair, bandana, jeans and a black tshirt.
Last year I really wanted to dress DD up as an alligator (her name is Alice and we call her the Alicegator sometimes), but my mom bought her the mouse costume; we may do that this year. DH loves the idea of dressing her up as a crab or lobster and putting her in a pot, but I think that ship has sailed - no way would she sit still for that.

DS is really into Muppets these days. I think he'd make a cute Kermit. Since I'll be huge in would probably make a decent Miss Piggy. Who should DH be? Hmmm...
My girls are going to be VERY original, and be Anna and Elsa. I'm sure there won't be 7 billion others. But honestly, I spent so much dang money on those costumes, that this helps me justify it

We're going to enjoy the limited amount of time we have to dress her however we want. So probably something nerdy. Baby dalek. Baby TARDIS. Yoda. Superhero. Who knows.
