Graham Douglas H., also know as Sir Squishy, was born at 12:34 July 2nd, weighing in at 9lbs0oz and measuring 20.5 inches long.
He's the squishiest baby in the history of squishy babies and generally adored by all, especially his two other mothers, I mean, his big sisters. They have zero hesitation at telling me what I should be doing when it comes to taking care of him.
He's an extremely mellow baby that actually slept for a five hour stretch last night (it was wonderful.) He nurses like a champ, pees like a garden hose and is the perfect addition to our family.
My c-section went really well and he stayed with me the entire time, even in recovery. We got skin to skin while I was still on the operating table and we even were able to try to nurse right there. My recovery is going super well; I had my one week checkup yesterday and my OB cleared me to drive (YAY!) and ride my trainer before the six week mark if I feel up to it (Double YAY!). I most definitely do not feel up to it yet but I know I'll be ready to ride before my six weeks are up so I'm glad my OB agreed with me.
And now, picture overload.
Since his sisters are princess obsessed, I figured it was only fitting that I make him a little prince crown so he'd fit in.
The gown he is wearing was the coming home gown Josh wore home from the hospital and both of our girls have worn it home as well.
Aw these pictures have been making me ache to hold a tiny newborn! He is the picture of squishy baby perfection. Wishing you a continued great recovery.
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.
