I love a good low country boil, the ones I've been to are made up of shrimp, potatoes, and corn. I love all three so throw in a good beer to go with it and yummy.

I am kind of surprised people from the south/costal places (maybe just east coast) haven't heard of them. I grew up in Atlanta and Charleston and they were a "thing" then, and are still is 4 decades later apparently. I have seen them done with crawfish or shrimp, usually sausage, like the pepperidge farm kind, corn, potatoes, and lots of Old Bay.
Anyway, I am not a fan, but it seems we keep getting invited. I wish I knew a bunch of Italians because I would so much rather a big pot of spaghetti, a great sauce go in that pot, and some awesome bread for dipping.
I've heard of them, but I personally don't eat anything with an exoskeleton. So there's that. I've mostly seen it with crawfish and occasionally shrimp, and rarely hear it referred to as a "Low Country Boil" but usually a "crawfish boil."
What does this mean? I'm a born and raised southerner, and certainly not ashamed of it.
Me too. Sorry that wasn't meant for you.
Bashing being southern or being religious is the last acceptable forms of discrimination around here IMHO. Everything else gets a one way ticket to GBCN exile except degrading Southerners or being religious.
I've seen it on multiple occasions. It's offensive to me.
