I am still carrying my diaper bag when I'm with DD, mostly because I have to carry her Auvi-Qs with me anyway. I haven't used my nice bags with her just because I have no interest in getting snacks and sippy cup water in them.
So, what are you carrying? I'm thinking I want something cross body.
I start carrying a purse as soon as my kids are done with bottles. When she was still in diapers, I would carry one or two in my purse with a travel case of wipes. I hate lugging a diaper bag around!
No more diaper bags here. Still have one in diapers, but I'm the ghetto mom who throws a few diapers into a trash bag and a few wipes into a Ziploc and then heads out. Or maybe I just forget and roll the dice......

On the occasion that I'm only out with my older girls, I just use my regular purse and leave the diaper bag at home. We're PTing DD2 so I just throw some wipes and an extra pair of underwear/pants in my purse.
I have a Modalu Pippa bag. It's a workhorse. It has three main compartments so I can throw DD's stuff (change of clothes, pull-up, maybe a snack) in the middle and use the other two for work and personal stuff.
I have a separate cross-body bag but it's small and I usually just wear it when I go out with DH or my friends. But DD also has a backpack she likes to wear, so sometimes I just stick her stuff in there and wear my cross-body anyway.

I still just carry my diaper bag. I could probably keep some stuff in the car and carry a smaller bag, but it would only be for a few months at this point. I'm too lazy to switch. I like having all the stuff!
I still carry a big bag. It's not technically a diaper bag, but I still carry a ton of crap. A few diapers, wipes, sunscreen, hat, spare outfit, bug spray, diaper cream, snacks for both of us, my wallet, his drink. I sometimes only carry my wristlet wallet in when we won't be in somewhere long.
If I know we're going to need distractions beyond my phone, I carry the diaper bag. Otherwise, it's my wallet, keys and phone. We stopped carrying a diaper bag everywhere when he was about 18m old. I'll throw a snack into the car if I think we'll need it.
This summer I've been carrying this 31 bag and really like it. Sometimes I bring the smaller one that's just like it. If I want a true diaper bag then I'll grab my Skip Hop Versa.
I have a different pattern but it's this bag with the zippered top: Attachment Deleted
I carry an open top tote as my purse, and I throw the jujube be quick in there if I have dd. That carries a few diapers, wipes, disposable change pad, pouches, raisins, and cheddar bunnies.
If we will be out all day, I still use my lands end little tripper bag or my Kate spade diaper bag, just depends on how much stuff I need.
Currently I'm using a cross body fossil bag (This one). I just toss in a pouch of diapers and wipes and a few snacks and small toys. If we're going somewhere that DD will need to entertained, I leave her packed backpack in the car with toys and coloring stuff.

We had gotten a free backpack type bag at the hospital when I had DS. It's only a one shoulder kind of sling backpack. It's actually perfect and then DH can carry it as well.
I feel like we still need stuff. Change of clothes in case of potty accidents; toys/books and snacks.
and I plan to buy a Madewell Transport tote to keep in the bag rotation. I'm hoping between these two bags and a tote organizer I can avoid diaper bags entirely for baby2.
I am the weird one who just bought a new JuJuBe Be Right Back -- to use with two potty trained kids (2 1/2 and 5). I like having the space for two water bottles, and I often end up throwing spare clothes, hats, sunscreen, and snacks (plus my wallet, sunglasses, and phone) in the bag. I also like having a backpack rather than a shoulder bag for those times that I need to run after DD
I wear a Madewell Kensington Satchel in English saddle. I had it monogrammed with my initials so it feels less like a diaper bag. You can wear it crossbody and it is a good size. I bought it during a f&f sale for $115ish.
I leave my diaper bag in the car. We often go to my moms house for several hours at a time, so I need 4-6 diapers, wipes, and a change of clothes. If we're going to the park or something similar, I bring my Lands End tote bag full of sidewalk chalk, bubbles, and lunch.
I've never been a purse person. Never owned a nice purse. So there's that.
We use either her skip hop backpack or a smaller tote version of our MBMJ diaper bag I found on clearance at the Rack. I don't like throwing her stuff in my bag because I don't want my nice purses to be at risk of a sippy cup leak. I feel like we still carry a lot of stuff: diapers, wipes, crayons, snacks, sippies, change of clothes, hat, sunblock...
I'm still kicking myself for now buying a MBMJ cross body I saw when I was home. We don't have a rack here.
