It's going ok so far. I've only been grocery shopping once and I recognized about 4 vegetables there, so I'm nervous about that. It's random what stuff I didn't find. Chicken broth was nowhere. Sunscreen, nowhere. No strawberries. But Kraft American cheese splices are everywhere. A lot of people speak basic English and there are a lot of English signs so it's not difficult to get around. I can't get a license/car or phone or any of my stuff yet (we don't have a visa yet) so I feel like I'm on a vacation, not living here and that sucks. But that's temporary. DH has hilarious work stories. He's getting more of an idea of how different it is here than I am. My mom and I have just been hitting the kid-friendly spots. There are a ton of things to do with kids here and it's amazing how nice people treat kids/moms. 100% of the time I've been on the subway someone gave us their seat, and I go on the subway at least once a day.
By the time you come visit me I will have this place all sorted out
Have you eaten those little pancakes they sell on the street yet?
Sent from my EVO
They sell fried crickets on the street, too.
eeew. No I haven't had the pancakes yet! What are they called? I've seen waffles, and things that look like they're stuffed with something previously-living but no pancakes. But I haven't really been to the touristy areas this week though.

I think they're called pancakes. LOL I haven't been to Korea in a looooong time. They're veg. Green onions in them I think. I can get packaged ones at the market here, but they ain't the same.

oh. Pancakes. Lol. I will definitely look for that!!
Then I probably didn't eat them. I ate a lot of unidentified meat on sticks.

you are a very brave cat.
I was hungry, yo. We were at a school in Incheon for a tournament. The food was TERRIBLE. We were only eating rice there. Anything that smelled good went into my mouth.
How are the kids doing? Have they been excited to check everything out?
it took a week to adjust to the new time zone, but they're having fun. Other than it being hot as hell here they think it's better than the US because we have gone out and done something kid friendly every day. This is because we have no toys (or tv or working Internet) in the apartment but I'm content to let them think this is their new fun, extroverted life. They will start full day school in a month. If you have tips on how to get picky twins to eat rice, please share. I'm sick of McDs

They don't like rice? Ah man. That's one thing most of my friends can get their American toddlers to eat.
