My bed is kinda meh. My guest room is shaping up to be fun, though. I'll post pics of it later. But if you're wanting to shop, West Elm is having a sale on all their bedding, plus an extra 25% off clearance items. I got my guest room duvet from there for $30 for a king.
Thanks lavender444, I just read this, went to WestElm and 5 minutes later purchased this duvet cover for $34.99... They were sold out of shams so I will just makes some.

We have a rainbow color bedspread that we found in the clearance isle of Walmart on our bed right now. it reminds me of the bedding used on the parents bed on The Middle... in fact if you just put blue sheets and about 5 more pillows on this bed, it's pretty close to how our bed looks now...
Duvet cover and apricot shams and throw pillow. Way too $$$ for the whole thing when any ivory sheets will do. It's going to look amazing with the headboard I've picked out, whenever it is we actually buy it.
Just got this in white/black for my guest bed from Overstock....haven't taken it out of the package yet.
I have this one! Except it's white on white and the scroll pattern on the corners. It's actually pretty decent for the price (I like I paid like $70.00). I love it! Mine does wrinkle a lot, but it's not worth caring about.
I like my TCS bedding, but I don't have a pic handy. It's showing no signs of wearing out, but I like to drool over Sferra bedding sometimes. If I actually needed new bedding and had just gotten a bonus check, I'd think about buying this: www.sferra.com/product/duvet-covers/11716-4296/sferra-francesca-collection.html. Maybe by the time mine wears out I'll be able to save up for it LOL.
Ok, this explains why bedding in the home decor magazines always look so amazing (and I'm never able to recreate it). They are probably using $1000 duvets!
This is so gorgeous. I've always wanted a duvet with that little extra trim around the edge.
It's in my bio - spring green and white, and from Target. We bought it last year and I like it. I especially like that the bright green pops against the gray and white of the rest of my bedroom, but if I get sick of green, there are plenty of other colors that will still go well with the walls and furniture.
so the bedding I have is currently buried under a mountain of clean laundry - no PIPs tonight.
this is the bedding I want. Now to convince dh that bright yellow with peacocks is a good idea
Well so much for that plan
dh took one look and decided it resembled the colors that emerge when you squish a caterpillar. There isn't even the smallest chance that he'll go for dead caterpillar as a duvet/room theme...
I don't have a pic handy, but we have something like this except it's a duvet cover / set:
I like this Moonflower set at West Elm.
I also really like their Cotton Pintuck Duvet, which I'd probably get since I keep coming back to it.
Really though, give me the jersey knit sheets from BB&B and I'm a happy woman. I love those.
We had the West Elm Cotton Pintuck duvet and were not happy with it. Loved the look, but the threads holding the pintucks would tear with the slightest pull. I had to be careful just straightening the cover. I would not recommend it.
From RH. Love the look. Love the colors. Hate the fact that's it's a duvet. I find duvets to be PITA.
We have the same set and I also love it! I was not a fan of duvets (especially on our king bed) until I modified the duvet so it doesn't slide around as much--the corner ties just didn't do it. Initially, it is a little bit of work, but in the long run, NONE of my duvets move around in the covers anymore My duvet is quilted in large squares so along the border at every seam, I sewed a buttonhole. I did this along the top and both sides. Then, on the inside of my cover, I sewed ribbon (have also used twill tape on others) to match every buttonhole. Tie them all up and that sucker stays put! It takes a couple of extra minutes to tie/untie for washing, but I am much happier!
