I had a similar experience when I demonstrated a somersault to my class a few years ago. I did it and then I was seeing stars. I had a crick in my neck and an awful headache for the next few days. I remember thinking "but I'm barely 30!"

I kind of wish I wasn't trying to coordinate with my cousin, to ride back hike with me. Ive been up since 5:45, no thanks to a chirping smoke detector and father telling me he was leaving.
I could be on my way and home by early afternoon, but I'm going to do it and be nice, since she has some family that lives by me, that she hasn't seen in years.
My current spinning for the Tour de Fleece is baby camel roving.
I don't think I have _ever_ felt a fiber that is this soft. As in, it's way softer than merino and cashmere. It feels a bit like silk, but behaves like an animal fiber. I'm curious to see what the end result yarn will be like...
I have a 2 foot long snake lurking around my front porch. He was by the door and then slithered off into the flower bed.
H's flight our of Calgary was delayed 2.5 hours, which means he'll miss his connection in Houston. We don't know if he'll be able to make it home today.
H and I have spent all weekend nesting. After being gone, and having houseguests, for the past month, our house and yard has needed some serious attention. It looks so great and feels so clean now!
This is a big day for me. Currently at brocoms first apartment. He has a pool, patio, hot tub, rec room, gym. It's amazing. And he cooked my FI and I dinner!
We have finally switched our house cocktail (we try to do this once a month or so but have been slacking.). It is now Mojito time for at least the next month. God they are delish.

Is there ever a need to drink anything besides mojitos?
I think the last time I did a cartwheel was approximately 1998. I think trying now would result in paralysis.
DH has been "Administrator on-call" this week for work. He has to take night and weekend emergency calls during this time and has this responsibility ever 5-6 weeks. Normally, he would receive 3-5 calls per week but this week has been insane. He has had around 20 calls so far and most of these are between 12am-4am. He turns his ringer down on his phone but it still wakes me up every time. I don't know what is wrong with people this week but they are exhausting me (and probably DH, too). I would probably complain less if DH got paid extra for this but he doesn't.

Amen. I am thinking these may last well into the fall. We have fresh mint and are using mango infused rum and I am LOVING them. More, please!!
My family is filled with drama right now. It makes me glad I live about 2000 miles away, I really don't want our future children exposed to these things.

Ooh share what the other recent ones have been? I like this idea.

@shoegal, I need to be more like you. I want to dress up and have fancy dinners with DH and house specialty drinks.
My random is neither of us have done a damn thing today besides surf the net and watch shows on the travel and wealth channels. I guess it's MM that we aren't spending money.

I am totally wasting time on the couch when I need to be cleaning up my house and finishing packing for our vacation tomorrow morning. But my DH is already there (wr) and we are meeting him but I have been alone with the kids since Saturday am and I am exhausted. Can't seem to motivate.
Maybe a good uterus-tearing cartwheel would get me going.

Seriously. I'm telling bf we need a house cocktail. Or at least a beer theme for the month (only ipa, lager, stout, etc).
Also, I'm feeling much better and ready for the week ahead. Just going to keep on keeping on. #stellagothergrooveback
@shoegal, I love that you have a house drink. I want to be as cool as you someday.
I have strep, which I'm actually happy about, because a virus means no antibiotics. I'm tired of being sick all the time.
I think strep is bacterial?
Strep is bacterial. Were you diagnosed with it or self-diagnosed? If it's the fomer, WTH to a pretty-basic condition being called a virus. If it's the latter, I encourage you to go and get properly tested and treated.

Uh, I assumed she meant that she had been diagnosed with strep, and received some antibiotics. And so, yay! because it's something that meds can do something about (instead of a virus that just won't go away...).

We have some great mint growing and haven't even made a single mojito yet this summer! Must go buy limes stat.

Tagging blanca. Sorry I worded my post poorly. I went to urgent care, they did a quick strep test and it was positive. I'm grateful it was strep because I got antibiotics. I was complaining about my last two sicknesses being viral and taking forever to feel better, but I lack clarity when I'm sick (lol). Thanks for the well wishes.
Eta: I should have kept scrolling, thanks audette.

This is the one we had before Mojitos...it is so good. We had this for early spring / summer, but just kept making it because of how delish itis.
