Hey all! I post on ML but realized I needed to finally jump in over here since I occasionally lurk.
I'm 27 and started running about two years ago. I did my first half last fall and am hoping to do two this fall. I was never athletic and hated running until recently. Both my parents were marathoners so I guess it was bound to happen.
My big weakness is eating junk food so I really need to work on cooking at home. Oh, and I recently decided to go vegetarian, at least for a while.
Hi! My weakness is also food. Sweets, to be exact. In fact, I just had a double scoop cone at Baskin Robbins, so thank God for the ten miles this morning! It's the last time, I promise... No judging.

Junk food is my weakness, too. My wife is working overtime today so my son and I made cookies for her for a surprise when she gets home from work, which was supposed to be 3 like hours ago (they had some sort of issue so she's still stuck there). Guess how many cookies I've eaten.
Welcome! During the summer, diet is definitely my biggest struggle. On one hand, the heat helps me crave lighter foods, but it seems like there is always a BBQ, vacation, birthday, etc., to mess up any healthy attempts I make. I basically signed up for another fall marathon, to make up for all of the bad summer choices I will make.
