I've started doing this recently....
Today at the pool there was an 11 year old with his mom. He was getting really agitated that he couldn't go in the pool during adult swim. His mom was telling him to settle down and he replied loudly with "Your mama so fat!..". I couldn't help it, I was laughing. I felt like an a-hole but it was so unexpected and ridiculous.

Yes, it's so awkward. I also have a really bad habit of smiling when I'm telling someone bad news. It sucks! The more I think about NOT doing it, the more I do it.

My sister and I both do this, and more so when we're around each other and it's a completely inappropriate or awkward situation. Churches, weddings, funerals, hospitals, pretty much anywhere I shouldn't.

Once when I was in my early teens, I was at church and my cousin was sitting beside. A lady behind me, also a good family friend, started singing and it was so awful and off key, both of us started laughing hysterically. My mom was so horrified and embarrassed and gave me a look I'll never forget. I felt like a huge jerk but couldn't make myself stop.
I'm terrible with this. If someone gets hurt, my first reaction is to laugh.
Yes, if someone trips I tend to laugh. Also When Lillian does a blood curdling dramatic scream during a tantrum I can't help myself. It's just so over the top lol.
A little, but mostly the smiling in bad situations. I have a friend who joined the army after high school and she's one who laughs when she's nervous, so she was forever getting in trouble at boot camp.
