I think I told you ladies that H was having some, uh, performance issues this past cycle (I'm guessing stress from the CP) and it was enough to make him go talk to his doctor. He's hasn't been to see his doctor in over 4 years (I know, don't even get me started) since he's literally never sick and "didn't see the need." Thankfully the last month seems to have lit a fire underneath him.
He just texted me and his doctor is doing a full blood and urine work up, is sending him for a semen analysis and gave him some samples of viagara. He's since managed to get the performance issues under control, but it always helps to have it around, right? He's never had issues before, but TTC is such a mindfuck and I assured him that it has happened to many a man in the TTC journey so that seemed to comfort him a little.
We're only on cycle 4 and I know it's kind of unnecessary at this point but I'm glad he's getting the SA done. It will either put my mind at ease a bit and/or let us deal with issues sooner rather than many months down the road. Between my hormone panel that I am getting done and this I just have to say how much I love the Canadian health care system.
I agree daisy. I was trying to be as supportive as I could, but it was definitely hard/frustrating for me. It was like I could feel another month slipping away from us.
I totally agree with you about the SA. Why not know from the get-go if you have to deal with any issues. I hope it comes back clear and you're able to relax and maybe even enjoy this whole baby making process, lol.
Me too! I have been more relaxed this past cycle after the fertile week was over and I'm trying to be more relaxed in general. I'm just such a planner/type-a personality that waiting/not knowing pretty much goes against every part of my personality.
Lol.. H said that when his doctor came into the room he said "So you're here for a vasectomy, right?" Um, hell to the no. Apparently all the receptionist had written in the appointment description was family planning.
