I have some sun damage and old acne scars. Does this help with that?
I have some light acne scarring/discoloration as well and it helped TREMENDOUSLY with them. Again, I had a lighter chemical peel done so the redness/burning wasn't as extreme as I think some can get. My skin just looked completely renewed, healthy and radiant. I know that sounds corny but it's amazing what happens once they get all the old dead skin off your face.
I have had profractional and a micro laser peel done a couple times before , but that did not help the wrinkles like I had hoped. I get my forehead done. I don't really have any deep wrinkles, but get it more as a preventative measure. I want to get the 11s done, since I do have wrinkles there, but the doctor can't do them at the same time and I have just never gone in for it. It's not nearly as expensive as I thought
Pretty inexpensive and they always have sales if you sign up for emails, or check the Daily Deal. The 40% glycolic peel is my favorite; the mandelic peel is good, too.
how painful are these? Similar to the relaxing/very slightly pain of getting eyebrows waxed - or more like the getting the hair in the crease of your upper lip threaded - or more closer to getting your inner lip done on a Brazilian wax?
I got it done last Friday for migraines, and the lack of movement in my forehead is freaking me the fuck out. I keep trying to make surprised looking faces in the mirror and I can't.
Have you done it before? Is it working? I keep getting offers/recommendations to try it for the migraines and I'm just not sure. Do you think it's helping? Did it hurt?

I do! I get the two lines between my eyebrows and my forehead lines. I've be doing it for about 5 years. Since the muscles are now weakened, I don't "need"as much as I did when I started and I don't need it as often. I'm 34. It makes a big difference for me, my skin is already bad with with old acne scars and new ones ;( I have a gorgeous close up of a grimace face in that awesome pip thread hahahaha for reference.

Not that painful at all. If, for instance, you order the 40% peel, I recommend using it for just 2 minutes the first time, then washing off the peel. You can work your way up to 10 minutes, but you should start slowly and space out peels by a week to see how your skin reacts. I will also put the peel on my forehead first, and then after a few minutes put it on my cheeks, chin, etc, since those areas are a little more sensitive. The bottle lasts FOREVER because I use a q-tip to apply the serum, so none is wasted.

This was the first time I did it. I think it is working. The majority of my migraines start from spasms in my neck and shoulders, and I was injected in my forehead, hairline, base of my skull, and my neck. I have not had one neck/shoulder related headache yet *knock all wood* and only two minor migraines in the area of my right temple, on Friday night and Sunday night, that went away with the first dose of Relpax. That is HUGE. I was at a point where I was only experiencing about three or four headache-free days a month.
It does hurt, but not badly. It's a very quick sting. I think I had 18 injections in all, with 100 mg of Botox. Next time he'll inject 200 mg. I was afraid to try it for a while but finally I gave in, and I'm so glad I did. If you have them chronically, it's worth it, I think.
I just got it for the second time (I had to wait 2 years between due to pg/nursing). I.LOVE.IT. It's amazing for my brow lines. No one has commented, even my sister, so I think it looks natural.

Thanks. I'm only headache free about 6/7 days a month. Its crazy to me that I'm resisting the treatment on account of being afraid of the needle pain when I'm treating much much worse pain. But I may give it a try.

It was all done in ten minutes, including him explaining everything to me and showing me the areas in the mirror afterwards. If it gets me down to even just two or three headaches a week, it's totally worth it.

I get 16-20cc's of Botox between my eyebrows every 3-5 months. I don't look like the faces you see on TV where skin is stretched and shiny. I look normal with the wrinkle flattened out. People are actually surprised when I tell them I get Botox.
Nope. I may have a ton of grey/white hair but I don't have a wrinkle problem yet. This is the one thing I hope I get from my mother. She's in her early 60's and still doesn't have wrinkles.

I've not really investigated it because I'm fearful of needles, but I've thought about it and I know I could never ever get a shot in my neck. Unless I was knocked out first, which is awfully dramatic. Maybe I could take an anti anxiety first since. Good luck. I hope it works. Migraines suck so bad.

Thanks. Good luck to you too, and I hope if you go for it that it helps you. They really fucking ruin your quality of life, man. If it's any consolation, the needle is tiny, and it's kind of like getting pricked with a pin.
last week when my lip swelled up it looked like I had fillers. It wasn't a good look for me. I'm glad I know before I spent several hundred dollars on it.
I get it and love it! Since I started (I go every 4 months) my crow's feet have disappeared and I look so much more awake. I am a very aesthetically low-maintenance person but have always hated my crow's feet. It's pricey, but since I used to waste money on lotions/creams that did nothing, it's a better deal to do Botox and cheap out on products... unless you can afford both, I am sure that is ideal.

I got Botox on my 11s before I got pregnant. I think I had it done 3 or 4 times. I could still move my eyebrows around, all it did was iron out the 11s line. I loved it but haven't done it in the past few years. I might again but for now I have bigger fish to fry.

I just had it done for the second time yesterday. It bugs me a bit because I think I have a worse case of resting bitch face with it. It's worth it for the migraine relief though.
I get my 11's, forehead and down turned mouth botox'd every 4 months or so. I get a super low does so I can still move my face it's just my expressions are less harsh. Basically I get my resting bitch face fixed.
Soooooo worth it to me and I'm still in my twenties. People no longer ask my what I'm upset about when I have a blank look on my face or when I'm thinking.
