She has now been sobbing/screaming on and off for over an hour.
DH, I'm sorry that she doesn't settle for you. I am. But she has seen you for maybe four hours in the last two weeks. Dump your ego at the door and let me fucking help. It's not a commentary on your parenting skills. It's not undermining your role as a father. It's doing what works to help a miserable baby get some rest. Oh, and allow me to actually focus on this project that is due tomorrow.
The newborn has been nursing for almost 2 hours. Wtf?! Normally she nurses for 20-30 minutes. I am so tired.
I should be grateful she normally sleeps for 3-4 hours at a time, which is good for her age and size (3 weeks, 7lbs). But tonight she's only slept from 10- midnight and has nursed since. Hold me.
The three week growth spurt was the absolute worst. You are rocking it girl!

I'm on a mega bus to NYC... 9 hours overnight. It's more uncomfortable than I had anticipated, which probably surprises no one else but me. Lol.
Eeek, that sounds miserable! Just you or are the kids with you?
Currently in a hotel at wv. Can't sleep, haven't slept good all night l. Luckily tomorrows drive is only 3.25 hours...except for the time I will be stoppino at the carter's outlet

Does anything even come out after that long? Can you try a pacifier?
Surprisingly I did still have milk. She's a slow nurser. So far she won't take a paci and she won't really take a bottle. She's particular. Ugh!
She just did a 3-hr stretch exactly. I'm hoping for another 2 hours before I have to get up today so I'm not a giant birch all day
DS slept for 6 hours! Woke up, nursed him, and he fell back asleep. Me, on the other hand, I've been tossing and turning here for 45 minutes. Finally decided to get up and do a load of laundry. Now I'm trying to fall back asleep but I have so many things on my mind. So happy today can be a lazy day, I know I'll be tired.
