Leila getting to two felt like it took longer, I swear. But with Kevin it just flew. He's been sleeping with that school bus. He chose his embroidery for his birthday shirts and saw the fabric for the shirts before his birthday and tried to run off with it. Things with wheels are his favorites.

cmeon, I really should cut his hair, but the curls are killing me. My grandma told me she left my dad's hair that long with the curl in the front in a finger curl until someone called him a girl. He's a very happy kid with that smile on his face a lot.

Oh, don't you dare!
I once put my foot in my mouth in a major way at a birthday party for one of DS's preschool friends. I KNEW he had a little BROTHER- but, I was totally distracted that day (DD was just starting to toddle around in that PITA way- ha) and was with us because it was at a public park and we were leaving directly from the party to head OOT. We were splitting up between the kids, and I had just traded off a cranky DD when I noticed little brother, with gorgeous curls to his tush. I asked the birthday boy about his sister, at least twice- ugh. Good thing the parents are really easy going. He's in DD's class now (with much shorter hair)- I still cringe inside a little when I run into mom at p/u!
Anyway, boys with pretty curls should keep those pretty curls until they can put up a fight about it.
