Tonight I have a networking thing for work. I hate networking things. Also, this means I won't get home till 9 or 10. Boo.
My terrific thing for today is that I don't have any meeting scheduled for today. And I didn't have any yesterday either. Yay!
Also, does it make me super weird that I see work people on the train into work, but I purposely avoid them so I don't have to make small talk? *slightly embarassed face here*

Laying in the great wolf room in the dark while the boys saw logs. This place is pretty fun, but such a huge $ suck. We will not be back for many years.
Once we are up and going, we will be back in the water until noon and then head home.
Tman has piano lessons this afternoon and then REST!

Terrific thing about today: As long as the weather holds up I'll be going to a BBQ with H's CWs.
Traffic yesterday was much better than I anticipated, BUT I'm super nervous about this evening's commute. Obama is in town :? And he's leaving Boeing Field at 7pm. I am using all my good mojo to will him to stay away from my bus route.

Terrific Tuesday because Terrific Teleworking! (I started my "getting ready for maternity leave" schedule yesterday, so I'm only in the office three days a week now.) I'm hanging out at Starbucks waiting for my car to get detailed, but I'm going to have to Uber to the mall in a bit because I broke my pants. (That part is not as terrific.)

Terrific: H bid on an auction item at a golf tournament last week. He won! A night at the Trump hotel here in Chicago and $250 to a awesome restaurant group here! Now to plan when we want to use it.
Terrific...babylefty slept four hours straight last night again. He is currently snuggled in my lap and my mom is coming over to get her fill of baby snuggles.

I'm leading a 4-hour meeting today that I've been organizing for months and is bringing together bigwigs in the stormwater industry from around Washington and Oregon. This afternoon the kids have soccer at Green Lake - one from 5-6 and one from 6-7. H is taking them, but I'm hoping to get there around 5:30, run around Green Lake, and then see the rest of their practice. After that, home for a big glass of wine and relaxation!
Terrific thing - this meeting will be over in about 5 hours and I can exhale and work on other projects.
Also, thanks all for the well wishes with Ragnar. Had an incredible time, yet again. Stomach muscles are almost as sore from laughing as my legs are from running.

Terrific - Just finished delivering most of and my hardest mid year reviews. I also have left over home made pizza and my mil gave me lobster rosotto for lunch. Can't wait.
I think I might need to go to the eye doctor. My vision in my right eye has gotten pretty blurry the last two days. I don't want to go to the eye doctor. It hasn't been a full year since I last went so I am not sure if it's all covered or not.

It could be covered under medical depending what it is. Any other symptoms?

My right eye has been bugging me off an on for about a month now, but this is the first vision change I've noticed. No other symptoms besides irritation. I justed called an made an appointment for tomorrow at noon.
Terrific: last Typography class tonight. I'm worried I'm going to be really late to class, too. Thanks Obama.
Hope work continues on being slow, I need to dedicate most of my time to finishing my homework I spent a ton of time on it yesterday and am not really happy with it, but I'm just going to try and tweak it best I can rather than start from scratch. I want fall schedule to be here already! I want to register for my next batch of classes!!!
Lots of no traffic vibes to all of you in the area of the Obama/ I90 fiasco.
I went up to my dads house to weed to garden earlier. I'm pretty bummed at how crappy everything is doing. I'm not sure what went wrong, it might be there dirt is lacking something but I don't know. Not sure what else will get done, maybe some laundry folding or other household chores if I get the energy/ motivation. Just not feeling it so much today though.
Terrific: I made it to day 16 of whole30 which means I'm more than halfway done!!! I still can't wait for a brownie at the end though I also made it to the gym today and tore it up so I'm feeling pretty good all around.

You guys... I've had a really terrific day! I saw an adorable sassy old lady in a bright green car with lots of stuffed frogs. I found the most comfortable shoes I've ever put my feet in at Ross... they're easy spirit, and a great deal. Has pink accents, but fabric markers will fix that. Then on my way home, I saw a momma deer and her spotted baby in a clearing easily visible from the road. I also baked brownies to leave for some friends whose cat I watched while they were gone. And soon I'll be heading out with some friends to check out The Station Pizzeria in Woodinville. It's been a great day.
