I had a great appt yesterday, heard Baby Sheks heartbeat and she had her tiny dance party last night. Her routine is pretty consistent in the morning and evening and I feel her move regularly.
Of course, this morning...nothing. Not a twitch. Drank cold milk. Ate chocolate. Laid on my left side. Doc didn't mention anything yesterday re kick counts and I know that's more a 28w+ thing. But did ask me if I felt her everyday.
Oh I'm 22w 2d. Tell me this is just a raging case of PGAL brain please.
Update: this baby had me waiting around until nearly 3pm for any type of movement. Now she's kicking my bladder.
Thanks again for the reassurances. It really did calm me down and I felt I wasn't alone in my pregnancy brain freak out.
And fwiw this baby is totally way calmer than my DS ever was. He was all over the place all the time from the first moment I felt him kick to now!
I don't think I felt the baby move consistently until around 24 or 25 weeks. But this is also my first pregnancy.
I would see if you feel the baby move after a meal either this afternoon or after dinner. If you still have concerns, I wouldn't hesistate to go to the doctor to be on the safe side.
I'd wait to see how the rest of the day goes. I'm 21+4 and usually feel the babies after breakfast but some days I don't. And then come time to go to bed I feel like they're playing soccer with my ribs. So maybe she just had a good party last night and is sleeping
I would definitely give it some more time. Mine is also more active in the morning and evening, but at that point, I would sometimes not feel him in the morning. I would try to pay attention after lunch, and possibly call before the office closes if you feel nothing all day. But I don't think that would necessarily be cause for concern this early, either.
I hadn't felt movement for several days and mentioned it to my doctor last week at my appointment, and he said not to worry that it's still too early for consistent movement...that won't come later until 26 weeks or so he said.
I had also just had an ultrasound to get two last items for my A/S in the office that day, and baby was definitely fine...I had experienced a lull of movement somewhere around 21 weeks I think, so I would not worry, baby is probably fine
I started feeling movement at 14 weeks, but it was not regular until around 24-25 weeks. It would freak me out as I would have a day of active baby and 3 days of nothing at all.

I agree with what everyone else has said. See how the day goes. And if you are still feeling worried/haven't felt the baby--call the dr.s office. I hope your baby gives you a reassuring kick soon!
I didn't feel the baby move a lot until around 26/27ish weeks. Yesterday I barely felt the baby move. My PGAL brain kicked in & it scared me. I was really busy over the weekend. I felt very tired yesterday. This morning I was laying in bed and he had a dance party. He has been moving all over today. When I am really tired he seems to be tired too.
((hugs)) I have never gotten that far so I can't speak about that. But from what the other ladies say that it is normal. Try not to freak out too much, I know that it is easier said then done though.
My pattern was kinda odd. I started feeling flutters/taps at 18ish weeks and would have them frequently in the morning and evening. Then around 22 weeks (?) things changed. There were 2day stretches of NADA, and the movements changed to more stretches. I'll be 33 weeks Thursday, and he's still really chill. There's no schedule or pattern, and I feel WAY less movement compared to what others describe. Like whoever said they had to register 8 kicks on the monitor in 30min? NEVER. HAPPEN. with this kid!

That was what my first DS was like. Super calm in the womb. Near the end, I ended up having to go in for NST every week because the kid was so relaxed. He came out perfect, and to this day (almost 5y), he's still a laid back kiddo! DS2, not so much (in the womb, and out!)!
OP, I totally get it. In fact, that was why I bought a Doppler, so I wouldn't be as worried. But my doctor said there really is a reason they wait until 3rd tri to monitor kick counts, because that is when movement should be more consistent. Hang in there!
Happy to hear LO decided to wake up and give you peace of mind. Clearly she didn't get the memo that from now until birth she should throw at least one dance party a day in your ute! I have had a few freak out moments where baby was was really active for like a week and then radio silence for like three days...so I totally get where you are coming from. Glad to see this update though!

Yes baby girl you listen to all your adopted GBCN aunts and do not scare is like that. It's not nice.
Funny thing is if/when another poster posts a similar question I would dole out the same advice as you all: relax, I'm sure she's fine, it's early still, give it some time and call your doctor. I just don't listen to my own advice apparently.
