I realized I'm within spitting distance of my kitchen stuff being $3500 to get the 10% off discount. Help me spend another $150 on kitchen stuff? The only catch is I can't return anything that bumps me below the discount. The obvious would be hardware, but I don't actually like any of their hardward. :-( Any input on the following -- things that are useful, or not worth getting?
- knife organizer - flatware tray - lid organizer - drawer dividers - variera insert for spice drawers
Any other ideas? I figure I'll bump out the rest with drawer mats and maybe more filler panels if needed.

I have the ikea lid organizer. It's pretty nice. The spice drawer is actually really nice too, although I have a different set I like better now that I got at the Container Store.
Under/in cabinet lighting, perhaps? You could easily do $150 there.
Do you have all the toe kicks, light rails, etc that you need? We made a few mistakes cutting, so it was nice to have a little extra. I also like the pull-out shelving for base cabinets.

We only have one upper, so we're not doing undercabinet lighting. And it'll just be drinking glasses in the glass cabinet, so no lighting in there either. Thanks, though...I'll definitely put the lid organizer on my list. Do you have lids in a drawer?

Ooh, great idea! I need to run something around the top of the high cabinet and single upper cabinet to attach the crown molding to, I'll get extra toekick for that! I'm guessing light rails are for undercabinet lighting?
I had to run around the kitchen section for random stuff to make it to the 10% discount too. Unfortunately I have had to return some things and get some other stuff I forgot or didn't think I was going to use. I didn't have any issue doing returns. I just wasn't able to get the 10% off on the extra stuff I bought.
do you have all the soft close things for the cabinets?
faucet?
I think they all come with them now? I'll ask, though. :-) Sadly I talked myself into the fancy touch-faucet from Delta.
One note on the touch-faucet. We have one in my office and it is annoying. It only seems to work about half the time. Not sure if it is just a bad one or something else. But after the annoyance we have had with it at work, I will not get one in my house.

I have heard this from several people, so we didn't even consider getting one.
I never have any problem spending money in the kitchen department at ikea.lol
I love the spice drawer inserts. I had them before and wouldn't give up having a spice drawer for anything when we were planning this kitchen. I like their shelf liner, too.
I really liked the cutting board that we bought there, that is, until it warped. phooey. It was one of the ones that hung over the edge and was a great size. I don't know if it was because of something that we did or ifitwas because it was bad to begin with.

Our lower cabinets have pull-outs.
What about getting the sensor light-up thingys for your drawers or lower cabinets? One of my biggest frustrations is not being able to see into the back of a cabinet.
Mine aren't from Ikea but my drawer dividers and knife organizer are my favorite things. I would like to have more dividers. I have one for silverware and one for utensils. Problem is I have about 4 utensil drawers.
Does it include the dishware? If so, what about dishes/glasses for entertaining?
FWIW, my husband is rather fond of the knife sharpener in the kitchen area. It does a pretty decent job for the price. I'm a big fan of the cork round trivets. Any areas you need organizing elswhere in your house? The rail and bucket/basket system would work in a workshop or craft room.

Even if you spend $150 on something you don't need - you come out $200 ahead on the deal after the discount! So even if it's something you don't want/need, does it matter?
I agree with PP who suggested the in-drawer lights. They have an over-sink strainer thing that I liked, but H nixed. So I'd suggest that! Under-cabinet lighting to put on the toekicks so you can see the ground (though that might put a spotlight on dusty floors!)?

Thanks everyone! I got:
- two lid holders - two drawer organizers - cutlery tray - knife tray - 4 rolls of shelf paper - 3 spice-holder wavy things
I think that's it...together with the extra door front and hinges for the microwave cabinet and an extra in-cabinet shelf, it put me plenty over! I got $250 worth of stuff for free and the other $100 credited back to my credit card, and it was all stuff I probably would have ended up buying anyway. :-D

Thanks for the tip on the touch faucet. The one I got is "Touch 2.0" which is much better reviewed than the original version, so I guess I'll see. It's from Delta via Amazon, so hopefully I'll have no problems returning it if it is not that great.

The light rail hides under cabinet lighting, but even if you don't have the lighting, it finishes off the look (similar to crown molding).
