West Coast trip next month - Seattle, Portland, San Francisco
We're hoping to do something in the first week of November. I wanted to book a London trip (perhaps with a side trip to Belgium) but prices are starting to climb. We might go to Montreal instead.
We'll likely go to Boston in December for an annual concert.
We live close to NYC, Philadelphia, and the Jersey Shore, so I'm sure we'll take some spontaneous day trips or long weekends this summer.
Late August/early September - 4 days in Paris, followed by a 4 day bike trip around Bruges, then 1 night in Brussels before heading home.
Everything else is family related. Upstate NY for my brother's wedding in September and Christmas, and we'll be visiting my in-laws in Boston for Halloween and Thanksgiving.
Long weekend in Quebec for a family reunion in October for my SO. We'll stop off and see my dad in upstate NY too. A week in Turks and Caicos for a wedding in Nov. Likely back to upstate NY for Christmas this year.

I head back to India in 2 weeks. Going to spend 9 weeks in Bangalore, a week in Kerala, a week in Jaipur for Diwali, 1.5 weeks in Mumbai to visit friends and some possible short trips to Agra, Hampi and Mysore.
End of month trip to central NY to visit family and then a business trip to NYC. Labor Day - San Francisco October - Oklahoma city December- Puerto Rico
We may be travelling over Thanksgiving and Christmas as well.
Additional business trips TBD but at least 2 more (if I don't quit)
Lake weekend with my parents, sibs, niece, and nephews this weekend NC coast for a week in August (the five of us) Long weekend in Napa alone with H in November Christmas in DC
For us, probably London in the Fall. China around Thanksgiving for a family wedding and, depending on whether DH can get time off, possibly Southeast Asia from there but that's looking less and less likely.
Fantastic. The gorilla treks were even more incredible than I was expecting. You end up being so close to them for the hour and thus you feel like you're part of the action.
And we saw everything in Tanzania: wildebeest river crossing, leopard, cheetah, rhino (6 in total!), lions (including some trying unsuccessfully to hunt), and all the other usual suspects. I really loved the Serengeti and H loved the crater.
Plus despite my husband protesting for the entire lead-up year about how he wasn't into animals, he ended up really liking it (as I knew he would) and so I took great satisfaction in saying, "I told you so," when midway through the trip he asked what country we'd pick for our next safari.
August- Mr. P does a fishing tournament, work related. Paid weekend to South Padre Island or I'd stay home. Sept- Trade conference for Mr. P. I go for the fancy hotel, room service and shopping. Night away and dinner for 10th anniversary. Location tbd per work schedule. Oct- trip to Michingan for BFF's birthday blowout. Probably tack on some days to go to our vacation house. Nov.- Do over honeymoon/10th anniversary trip to the Keys since Mr. Pom missed that segment of his original honeymoon for a job interview. I went with friends after we got back from our cruise. Also in Nov.: Sales conference for Mr. Pom. Hopefully somewhere awesome- hasn't been announced yet.

Bruges! That's also on my bucket list.
It's supposed to be gorgeous! We start there, then head south on our bikes. Well, west to the coast, then south almost to the French border. We're big craft beer fans, and it's a biking then beer tasting trip.
Super quick trip to Atlanta for a wedding Greece in August Va Beach for Labor Day/ RnR half marathon Somewhere for Thanksgiving (maybe Gulf Shores?) Either Atlanta or TN for Christmas

September- weekend in Vancouver followed by a 5 day cruise back to LA down the Pacific Coast- Seattle and Astoria as ports October- weekend in Vegas w/my BFF for her birthday November- Maybe go back to Cabo if there is a sweet deal December- Xmas in NM, probably driving through AZ as well to see my folks
It depends on the job situation, I'm looking for a new one, but hopefully a trip either to SC or the FL Keys in November. I have a couple things planned for early next year, so I need to make sure I have the vacation time saved up for that, and if I change jobs, it may not happen.
We are filling up quickly with more to come. So far:
ETSU Aug 18 thru 19 to move DD1 to school NC to see DS Aug 22 thru 24 NC or GA for a concert Aug 30 thru Sept 1 Oct 10 thru 14 ?? ETSU to see DD1 Oct 31 thru Nov 2 Memphis Dec 5 thru 7
I have hotels for all of these and adding things daily. Next month is going to be busy. We have family coming in next week to stay at least until Aug 2. I hope to travel either on Thanksgiving or Christmas holidays to see family in GA or SC. We mostly do driving trips.

January- week in Dominican Republic all expenses paid by DH's work.
We can get drinks and do a Cabo GTG!
Where in the DR are you going in January? I went in 2012. It is a beautiful country but I got eaten alive by mosquitoes so make sure you take along a lot of repellent if you aren't in a huge resort area like Punta Cana.
I was just going to page you and ask where in Cabo you were going?
We are staying in Punta Cana in the DR- at the Paradisus. It's a "President's Club" trip for DH's work, but I think we are going to extend 3-5 days. Any other recs? We got married in Jamaica in a tiny town and the mosquitoes killed me, so I never leave home without the repellent.
I'm jealous. We have pretty much nothing. All we got is LA in Sept for my cousins wedding. We might go again for either Thanksgiving or Christmas with my family because H doesn't want to deal with his family. This is the biggest thing I hate about my job...no time for a good vacation.
