Congrats! Morning sickness forced us into dropping the morning nursing session. She then nursed before bed for most of my pregnancy. We did increase the number of times DH put her to bed. I also tried to put her to bed without nursing a few times and was successful some of the time ( I know I could have forced the issues but I did not want to).
Due to a couple of issue DD has only nursed a few times since DS was born (6 weeks old). She sometimes still asks but I am usually able to deflect/divert her to something else.

I weaned at 34 weeks pregnant. I was hoping my son would stop nursing on his own and had been told that the milk changes at 20 weeks enough that many kids don't want to nurse any more, but that was not the case for us.
I weaned around 10 weeks pregnant. I was ready and we actually had a very easy time weaning. I stopped offering and she stopped asking within a week or so. Hope you have a similar experience!
Congrats! J self weaned when I was around 8 weeks pregnant with the twins. I think my higher hcg with the twins caused my supply to drop and change faster than it normally would.
Due 3.31.15. DD and baby #2 will be just about 25 months apart. (Last night H was getting her ready for bed and said, wait, 2 year olds are potty trained, right? LOL)
I am a little nervous because I'm already queasy and had a dull headache today. I didn't get sick until later with DD.
Also, did anyone wean once they got a BFP? She is still nursing once or twice a day and I have no interest in tandem nursing. I am hoping that maybe hormones will change the taste and she'll lose interest. Wistful thinking?
Congrats Yep I weaned at 7 weeks with #2. Although she was 27 months. I just did it cold turkey because I was uncomfortable & it hurt SO much!

Congratulations!
Potty training is not on our radar either, ds will be 26 months when the baby arrives. I got pregnant when ds was 16 months and he self weaned around 20 months. We'd only been nursing morning and night for half a year when he eventually lost interest (or my supply dried up, or the taste changed, or whatever).
Congratulations! I weaned DS when I got pregnant with DD. He was 19 months and it went pretty well. Just took things slowly and did "don't offer don't refuse" with him.
For potty training, we did it right at 2 years, a week after his birthday, because DD was due 3 months later. He took to it great and I'm glad we went for it. I have a friend for whom PTing at 2 totally backfired, though, and her 3.5 year old is still peeing and pooping all over the place. DS was showing definite readiness signs. I'd see how it goes and decide when you get closer.

Congrats! No advice on weaning, but my daughter had nursed throughout my whole pregnancy and never seemed to mind changes in my milk. Nursing 2 is hard, because Nods wants to nurse just about everyone I'm feeding the baby.
