Yes i love lifetime! No shame!
Anyway, I thought it was interesting. Basic premise of the show is that the world has been hit with infertility. As in there haven't been any kids born in 6 years. Everyone in the US is required to go through mandatory fertility testing/monitoring. Scientist lady (Heather Graham look alike) manages to fertilize 100 eggs (which no one has done in 6 years) and now there is conspiracy and craziness abounds.
But she secretly reads the sperm donor lists and bangs the random dudes on the list to try and get pregnant herself
Donated is interesting, because I am not entirely sure the ladies had much choice to donate. Forced donation might be a way to put it.
Oh I must have missed that part! I thought that all the women would basically do anything to have a baby, including donating their eggs "for the cause" so to speak...?

Yeah, I think it was that too. BUt there were all those protests outside the clinic. I think that people went to mandatory testing and donating eggs or something?? LIke I think you were selected by the gov and you wanted to do it, but also you might not have 100% free choice to do it?

I didn't watch, but I might check it out. I thought Children of Men was really good and kind of a fascinating premise. Do they tie the series into the movie in any way, or is it just the same writers/same premise?
I DVR'd it and watched it last night. I thought it was really interesting, I'm planning to watch the rest. It definitely didn't feel like a lifetime series!
