I had like zero NB clothes when DD was born because all of my mom's babies were over 9 pounds and my husband and his sister were mid-8 pounders. I got an 80 piece lot of NB clothes off ebay for $80 my first week back from the hospital. It was well used
We are here! I was 9lbs13oz and DH was 9lbs6oz. We were expecting a big baby. DD was 7lbs5oz and still not back to birth weight at 3 weeks. An eBay lot is brilliant!
My son is 6.5 weeks and he is just getting too long for the NB clothes. I will have to pack them away later this week ::cue sobs:: he still has plenty of room weight wise though, but he is tall and lean.
DD was 5 lbs 9 oz and outgrew sleepers and onesies around 6 weeks. She was still fitting in NB pants and shirts until about 3-4 months but the pants ended up looking like capris since dd was long with no butt and tummy rolls.
I only just packed up her nb clothes and nb prefold diapers last week (10weeks old). She was too long for most things but is pretty lean and still had room width wise. She was 6 lb 8 oz at birth. Scrawny kid!

I don't remember with the older girls but DD3 is 6 weeks and still in NB. Most outfits that run 0-3 months and those marked 3 months are still pretty big on her.
Somewhere between 6-8 weeks. He'll be six months on Sunday and still fits on some carters 3 month stuff, six months clothes he's got room to grow, most of it is quite baggy on him.
Similar here. My 36-week tiny guy was in NB for 2-3 months. Now at the same age he fits in both 3 & 6 month stuff. He needs the 6 month clothes for the length but they are all SO wide!
5 weeks or so. Like all sizes so far she outgrew in height first.
Now she starts fitting in clothes at the end size listed, usually a bit after. So now she is just starting to fit into some 6-9 but still mostly in 3-6, kind of like @starry mentioned. she wore 0-3m for 6 months!
L was 7lbs 9oz at birth, 7 even when we left the hospital.
The girls were in newborn size for about 6 weeks or so. They are 4 months now and still in 3mo. They were 6 lb 14 oz at birth each but lost quite a bit and are very slow gainers though (only a lb a month) due to food allergies. They sized out due to height not weight. They are long babies.
