That looks so much bigger already! Do you know what colors you're going to use for the space?
I'm probably going to just pull through the wall color currently in the dining room (see the wall that disappeared in the first pic), Benjamin Moore Cotswold. There's not actually much wall space left in the kitchen -- the whole left-hand wall is mostly floor-to-ceiling cabinets and fridge and the back wall will be mostly backsplash. Here are my other finishes so far (more details in my mega-kitchen-reno thread). White IKEA cabinets (Lidingo), silver/chrome/brushed nickel fixtures, Bianco Antico granite, medium dark maple wood floor. Backsplash TBD.:
dr.girlfriend - I saw the mega post but must have missed the wall color. I think that will look really nice all together and leave you with lots of leeway to bring in accent colors another way (i.e. through accessories etc.).

Yeah, I didn't label it, it's that square in the bottom left hand corner of my collage. ;-) My kitchenaid mixer is Sunshine Yellow, so I think a yellow accent color thing might be happening.
