That's a long drive.
I was up early with lots of nervous energy. HVAC guy comes at 9:30 and I'm at work being a nervous mess. From what he said over the phone, it seems like something major and I'm scared.
The unit is only 6 years old! Of course the warranty expired after 5 years

I swear all crap breaks immediately after the warranty. I have had ONE warranty-covered repair, ever. The rest? They break month after the warranty ends.
It's raining here, but just enough where you think you need an umbrella but then you get out in it and think "wth?" because it's barely doing anything.

Not every time. A few years ago my phone started acting up and was randomly shutting itself off and then it locked itself. (I didn't have a lock code on it) None of the factory passcodes were working and they ran out of tries. So, I needed a new phone. They looked up my warranty, my phone died on the day the warranty expired! I was still covered! The sales people thought it was the funniest thing and have never seen that happen. I couldn't believe that I lucked out.
Any arm strength that I had at any point in life is gone. I can't do push ups, modified or other wise. I can lower myself about 1/4 to 1/2 inch, if I am lucky!
I have a date with a new guy on Friday night. I've only ever emailed with him on match until today when I got a text from him. His emails are hilarious and his text was equally funny. I'm afraid when I meet him the pressure to be funny will be too much and it'll bomb.
I am sooooo excited about my date tonight!! I'm taking the kids out for dinner and then to see Shrek the Musical. DS was up before I left the house this morning and I was encouraging him to dress up for our date tonight.

I'm late. Again. And I forgot my breakfast, which will not serve me well. I do have my umbrella that I looked all over the house for, only to give up and realize, as I walked out the door, that my bag is particularly heavy today. Something tells me this is not going to be my best day ever.
Oh, and I just passed a water bottle full of urine. Thanks for not pissing in the corner, I guess, but throw that shit away.

Enjoy it! It's actually quite good!
I watched the Broadway production on Netflix and LOVED it!
DS#2 fell asleep holding my hand last night. Then this morning he kept popping up behind me on the loveseat "I want to give you a kiss!". And he spent 10 minutes telling stbx about the "light lizard" we found at our house yesterday (it hid by our exterior light, hence "light lizard").
Today is going to be a crazy marathon of a day. I go from meeting to meeting to sessions to maybe 30 min to eat, to another session, to giving a training, to one more meeting/supervision. If I make it through, I'm rewarding myself with a pedicure.

You must have missed where I updated that he's an ass.
We went out once. Had a nice time and both said we'd like to go out again. I then didn't hear from him for more than a week. I'd written it off. He eventually resurfaces making small talk over text. We go back and forth over text a bunch of times, him asking me how my week was what I was planning for the weekend, stuff like that. He eventually sent something that didn't require a response so it just stopped. A few hours later he sends a text saying he had a great time with me, I seem like a really great girl, but he's met someone with whom his relationship is progressing and he isn't the type to date multiple people at once.
So basically someone I wasn't dating broke up with me.

I got one of those random texts not too long ago, kaneen, from a guy I literally haven't talked to in two months. It said "So, it looks like I'm moving back East for good on September 1st. Sorry." I have no idea what he thinks he's apologizing for since we aren't (weren't) dating and we hadn't even texted in a couple of months. Weird.
Sending you lots of hugs doglove. I felt the same way when my grandpa died and I couldn't make the trek to San Diego for his funeral...
My alarm didn't go off this morning. I get up ridiculously early considering I don't have to leave until 7:30, so I still had plenty of time to get ready without rushing, but I missed that relaxing hour of time I have to drink coffee and watch the news between getting ready and waking up DS.

H just called. Not great news but not horrible either. The HVAC guy thinks it should be covered under our home warranty so we're going to try that route.

LOL! Obviously! I texted him back and told him there was nothing to be sorry for. I haven't heard from him again. That obviously wasn't the response he was looking for.

Yay!! I hope they can get it fixed quickly.
Thanks guys, the kids have been really sweet lately--even DS#1 has been a lovebug.
