I know a lot of people hate that term, but I do what I want.
My new favorite one is to put the oven on broil to speed the preheating process. I haven't looked back to the preheating thread to see who the genius was that said she did that.
Oooh I've never head of doing that before! I've been using broil to cook stuff quicker.
I do bacon in the oven. Put foil on a cookie sheet and put the bacon on it so when it's done, you can just toss the grease. Cooks so much quicker and doesn't make the mess!

I posted on H&G that I put the oven on broil to heat up my old Kitchenaid convection oven. That beast took a minimum of 30 minutes to preheat, and it drove me nuts!
I feel like my life is one big series of favorite hacks!
Packing kitchen scissors in the diaper bag to cut food for the baby when we're on the go (& at home) Using my Kitchenaid mixer for shredding meat Using vinegar as a fabric softener
Not so much a hack, but a HUGE, favorite time saver...using Norwex microfiber rags for my windows & mirrors.

I absolutely LOVE my Norwex polishing cloth. Nothing gets my windows and mirrors as clean as it does.
Cooking for tomorrow. I eat today what I cooked yesterday. So I don't come home from work/the gym ravenous and I still have to stress about cooking. Cooking is relaxing and fun now.
Get rust stains out of your clothes by soaking the spot in lemon juice, then sprinkle with salt. I let it sit overnight, and it got rust stains out of DH's jeans that were 4 days old! Best part - NO SCRUBBING.

I'm not sure if this qualifies exactly but in your car next to the little gas symbol is an arrow that indicates which side of the car the gas tank is on.
Cooking a double batch of every meal. I only have to cook every other day because whatever I cook on day 1, we have the same thing on day 2.
When green peppers are on sale, I buy a ton of them and chop them up and portion them into freezer bags(I generally use 3 in every meal I where I use peppers). Then I freeze them, so when it comes time to cook, I just pull a bag out of the freezer and throw it in a bowl of water.

I've always wondered why auto makers can't put gas tanks on the same side of the car. It's so annoying, especially when DH and I drive one another's cars...they're on opposite sides and I can never remember!
When I fold a set of sheets, put them in one of the pillow cases (use it like a bag). Then, when I need to grab a set of sheets from the linen closet, I know it's all in one package.

I do this too and it is such a time saver, and it prevented my stbxh from using mismatch sheets

This is so smart and nothing I would have thought of doing.

I can't ever get mine folded small and neatly enough to fit inside the pillow case so I stuff them all in the folded flat sheet.
Oh, another, using Press n Seal to cover the shelves in our fridge. It makes clean up so much easier.
Using chop sticks to get small bread or bagels out of the toaster so you don't burn your fingers or stick a metal instrument in there.
I bought toast tongs for my husband as a gag gift/stocking stuffer one year. We're on our second one and I use those things every freaking day. We're very fancy!!

Instead of cute outfit 9,876, I send my new parent friends a delivery pizza their first week home from the hospital. Just takes me a phone call AND nobody needs to cook!
Backing eggs in a cupcake tin in the oven. I have a tin of 24 and I put 2 eggs in each. Breakfast for the week done in 20 minutes!
How do you do this without getting egg stuck to the pan? I have to spend so long cleaning each hole to get all the stuck on egg. I've tried coating it with Pam, Crisco, butter, switching to silicone, etc.
I had the same issue so I started using tinfoil cupcakes liners. Works like a charm!
Keeping a laundry basket in the trunk of my car to carry in groceries. Much easier than the how many bags can I carry game. Especially is you are using disposable bags instead of reusable.
