If DS decides he wants a hard boiled egg for breakfast I put it in the coffee maker where the coffee grounds go and after the coffee brews I wait a few minutes, then I have one hard boiled egg.

What? This works?
Yes but only if you are brewing a full pot of coffee I believe. I've never tried it with less than a full pot.

Every person in the house has their own zippered mesh bag that hangs on a hook on their closet door. Dirty socks go in the bag. When I wash whites, I zip up all the bags and toss them in the wash. WALLA! No lost socks. No sorting socks. The bags get dumped back into each person's sock drawer.

This is fucking genius.
I like matching up socks but this would make it so much easier. And I could get rid of my sock basket that collects the left overs. .
I have done this my whole life. My mom has always done it and got me started on it as a kid "this way you don't get frosting on your nose!" I have shocked so many people of the years.
Now I want a cupcake.
I always want cupcakes or blueberry muffins. They are the only sweet treats I really crave.
I only started using the trick after seeing it on buzz feed. Life changer. I had glorious cupcakes at my baby shower and taught everyone this trick.
Get rust stains out of your clothes by soaking the spot in lemon juice, then sprinkle with salt. I let it sit overnight, and it got rust stains out of DH's jeans that were 4 days old! Best part - NO SCRUBBING.
It really made me want a margarita though.
I wonder if this would work on grout? We have these weird rust dots on our shower tile and nothing has touched it - bleach, CLR, hydrogen peroxide, backing soda.
When you slice up bananas for your babies in the finger food stage, shaking the slices in a Baggie of wheat germ or crushed Rice Krispies makes the slices easier to hold onto.
In a pinch, straining the pasta and veggies from a can of Progresso vegetable soup is an easy meal for babies in the finger food stage.
I carry a Tweezer in my purse because I find hairs that aren't supposed to be there all the time in well lit public bathrooms. I feel justified by the fact that other GBCNers keep them in their car for the exact same reason.
Rubbing alcohol removes permanent marker from skin & clothing.
Also, someone said if your have permanent marker on something (her TV screen, I think?) to write on it with a dry erase marker and it will come off but I haven't tried that one.
