DD is 5 months and still in our room. But we live in a one - bedroom apartment, so we'll be room sharing until we can buy a house, which we're really hoping will be within the next year.

2 months, the week before I went back to work. I am a super light sleeper and all his "noises" were keeping me up. I could handle it on maternity leave, but I need at least a little sleep to function at work. He occassionally would still sleep in his cosleeper in our room, but only on the nights where I had already trapsed back and forth more than 3 times.

About 10 weeks. He was a horribly loud newborn sleeper and none of us were sleeping well. I also wanted him to get used to his crib before I went back to work. It was much better for all of us.
We are still room sharing at 6.5 months, but that's more because we don't have a room for him. If we did he would have been in his own room probably 2 months ago.
That first night we were home he had peed through his diaper every time he woke up in the MOTN. After 2 wake ups we ran out of sheets for the pack n play, so we just moved him to his crib in his room. Never looked back.

Apparently I'm an outlier. We co-slept until around 2 yo when we night weaned. But DS is a much quieter sleeper than others are describing. Anytime he woke me up was intentional and he wanted to eat so it was easier to have him there.

He's 3.5 months and he's still in the ARC beside my bed. We are moving when he is 7 months so we plan on putting him in his own room then. We shall see if we make it that long.

With A&A it was about an hour! They were LOUD!!!!! So in their room they went. With K, it was probably 3 months? We were in a smaller apartment so we wanted to keep the dining room as such as long as possible.
WE did 5 months. I wanted him to transition before I went back to work at 6 months. DS was a silent sleeper though. My friends babies were so freaken noisy I would never have been able to room share with them lol. THey sounded like baby raptors in their sleep!
My kid used to FART so loudly in his sleep it was like the room would shake.
We had DD1 in our room for 19 months, but that is because we were in a 2 bedroom townhouse and had MIL there for 11 months and SIL there for another 7 months. Our room was large and the crib fit in our room. She slept in the pack n play til about 3 months and then moved to the crib in our room after that.
DD2 went to her room probably around 2 months. We were in a different house and our master is much smaller than where we were for DD1.
Wow, thanks for all the replies! I guess we'll just see how it goes. I'm going back to work part-time at 2 months and full-time at 5 months, but I guess it will also depend on whether the baby wakes us up or vice versa. I guess there's not really any consensus other than "what works for you!"
9.5 weeks here. And I only made it that long because I had it in my head that Aj needed to be able to nap in the crib before he'd sleep in it at night. Once I realized the napping part was failing miserably I decided to bite the bullet and try it at night. Thankfully he took to that far better than he did napping in the crib (that came around 5 mos)

DS: 5 months
DD: 8 months
I wasn't in a hurry to move them. I liked having them close. I moved them when I thought everyone's sleep would improve by moving them to their own rooms.
