We put C in his is own room the night we brought him home from the hospital, and except for a few trips where we've stayed I with relatives or in a hotel room and room-shared, he's slept own his own. I wouldn't mind room-sharing at hem, but we have NO space for a PNP in our room (big American furniture in a small British house), and he does just fine on his own. I know the AAP recommends room-sharing, but it just wouldn't have worked for us.

3 weeks with dd, but I would keep her in our room after her last nursing session for a few months. I plan on keeping ds in our room longer since they will be sharing a room.
We'll be at 5 months next week. We'll move one when they're big enough to no longer share a crib. The other will probably stay. I like room sharing.
How long do you think you will have them share? Right now the girls start the night in the rnp and then we bed share when they wake up but we will be transitioning to thr Cosleeper soon then the.crib in a few.months. I just envision them wanting to share for a long time.
DD is 15 weeks old and she is still in our room. She sleeps in a PNP now (bassinet for the first 3 months). At around 4/5/6 am I usually bring her into bed with us. If I could I would cosleep all the time but a) we sleep in a double and there isn't enough room and b) I am scared I would never get her out of our bed.
Apparently I'm an outlier. We co-slept until around 2 yo when we night weaned. But DS is a much quieter sleeper than others are describing. Anytime he woke me up was intentional and he wanted to eat so it was easier to have him there.
Us too. DS was in our room till right around his 2nd bday. DD moved earlier around 13 mos, but she started becoming restless in her sleep. Both reverse cycled during the night, and I didn't want to have to get up frequently to BF them.

I want them to share as long as everybody is getting good sleep... we'll see how long that is. They used to sleep in a mix of the RNP and the crib both in our bedroom, but for the past several weeks overnight sleep has been 100% crib. Right now they sleep (start the night anyways) the short way in the crib, with each on one half. Squishy rotates herself in her sleep though. A few times one or the other has moved enough to bother her sister. They're getting close to too long (well Squeaky is) to sleep the short way. I've considered trying diagonal, but I'm worried they'll kick each other more that way. I think we have another month or two but maybe not more.
We did do just under 6 months. I'm glad I had him in with us as long as I did, but it did make it hard to put him down and try to go to bed later. I found myself often going to sleep when he did.
