Developing Situation with My BFF (vent)

You guys may remember that lovely situation with my bff and the married guy, right?  Well...  It's gotten worse.

He and bff are now living together (in a new place), and are already exchanging "I love you"s all over facebook... So much for them not being in a relationship.

I'm genuinely worried for her, I'm mad at her, and I'm sad too...  She is so desperate for love and happiness that she rushes into relationships, and I can't see this one ending well either...  Her son is about 6 months younger than DS and has been moved into 2 new boyfriends' houses in the last year.  

I know there's nothing I can really do here, but be there for her when she needs me. But I'm angry with her for putting herself and her kids in this situation AGAIN.

It would seem that my decision to distance myself from the drama early on was a wise one.  The dreamer in me really wants this to work for her and wants her to finally be happy, but the realist in me knows that this has disaster written all over it.

Wasn't it just like a month ago that she was denying they were in a relationship since dood was still married?

This all developed rather quickly. I mean, I tend to not let the grass grow under my feet when I decide it's time to do something, but damn...

I can understand why you're frustrated and worried. It sounds like she might end up getting pretty hurt by this guy. He's bad news.

Wow. Hopefully she has some money stashed somewhere for that kid's future therapy needs. Yikers.


I just found your last post about her. Did you ever figure out where you recognized him from? It's totally possible that I read that wrong. Any caffeine I had in me has worn off and I'm in need of more... yet the vending machines are out of order this week so I'm screwed.

Yeah.

I can't blame him for not wanting to be with her, but I still think he's an asshole for the way he's handled this situation.

ETA: I think they're both being assholes. It doesn't matter how unpleasant his wife is. No woman deserves to go through the hell she must be going through right now.
