My mom refuses to text. And if someone texts her, she refuses to read it. "If they want me to know something, they can just call me!" It must be exhausting to be so stubborn.

I've cheated on my whole 30 every day this week and lied by omission to H. He is out of town and told me he hasn't cheated at all. He is keeping an ice chest of food with him. Dude is committed.
We've never had cable. I don't see the point. Daytime tv sucks, and I'm not interested in watching days of our lives or dr.phil. We have Netflix, though.

Ok, keeping with the theme of today's confessions- I legitimately recently made a list of frequent contacts (friends & relatives) labeling w/ a T, C, or E. Text, Call, or Email describing which is the 'preferred method of contact' I've heard so many complaints regarding forms of contact/ 'How can she not remember I HATE texting?!?' that this seemed like the best solution. It is definitely a confession, as I don't know if I would ever admit this in real life But it works for me, OK?!?!?!!
How is that even possible? Even my technology challenged mil texts.
Right? My 82 year old father texts me sometimes. He can text pictures too. Though maybe he's not quite your average old dude, he uses text speak too, much to my great dismay. lol
"Why would you ruin perfectly good peanuts by adding candy corn? That's like saying hey, I have these awesome nachos, guess I better add some dryer lint." - Nonny
I bought these delicious speciality jams up north last month. They're like $9/jar but totally worth it and I only ever get them when I go up north, which is not a lot any more. I am TICKED at H for using them for his peanut butter and jelly sandwiches but I feel like I can't say anything. "Hey honey, stop using the jam for what it was made for!" lol.
I'm thinking about getting my first tattoo - at 32 years old. Cue the "There's an age limit" arguments.
I think that getting your first tattoo when you're in your 30s is better. You're a lot more likely to give it real thought and pick something meaningful that you'll truly enjoy having.
I was SO GLAD when my mom started texting. Every thought in her head used to require a 10 minute phone call. Now I can choose when to respond to her! I had to turn of read receipts on iMessage exclusively because of my mom.
