I miss scrunchies. Suck it, haters. My default hairstyle for high school and college was a soaking wet bun with whatever scrunchie fit my mood that day. We were doing that way before Pinterest had a million ways to get your hair into the perfect messy bun.

I admit a few years ago when I started wearing my hair curly, I used scrunchies for the gym and even occasionally outside the gym because they didn't fuck up my curls like regular elastics did.

I'm wearing one right now. I use them when I volunteer before work since my hair has to be up there but I want to take it down again for work without the bump a normal hair tie creates. This morning I went all the way up to my office before realizing I forgot to take it out, but my hair brush was still in my car 7 stories down. The scrunchie stayed in.
My hair goes up in a mini scrunchie every day around 5pm, in time to make dinner, wash my face, and take care of business around the house. Hell, today I'm ahead of schedule and have one sitting in my lap right now because we closing in on that time every day when the heat is too much and I can't take my hair on my neck anymore.
Guys, I have to state the obvious: tie-dye is also back. And I'm fucking ELATED about it. I really had to make sure I wasn't dreaming, but I feel confident saying that it is indeed in style. And boy am I ready! *digs out t-shirts from 1995* I think I even had a tie-dyed scrunchie at one point, to bring this full circle.
Shit! I threw away about a dozen a few weeks ago while going through stuff from my parents house. They were in my old caboodle :-p
One of my (3) old caboodles is currently our tool box. Now that I own a house, I should probably get a real tool box.
I saved the caboodle to put makeup in, but then I realized that despite having read the entire makeup thread I don't own enough that it makes sense. I think I'm a makeup thread failure.
That SATC episode is almost unwatchable to me, the way over the top overacting that SJP does gives me second hand embarrassment for her (I mean worse then her usual overacting in the show).
