I'm so glad I'm going down to Eugene on the red-eye tomorrow morning.
The diagnosis is adenocarcinoma. Which according to Dr. Google affects the colon, but I don't see a reference to the liver. I guess because it metastasized to the liver?
If there are any medical folks on here that knows about such things, I'd appreciate a PM

Oh, I'm so sorry, flex. I'm glad you're able to head down there; I bet your mom is, too. Google tells me the liver is the most common mets site for that type of cancer. You and your mom are already in my prayers, but I'll say a little extra one for you tonight.
My poor stepdad. He's taking this the hardest from what I've heard from my sister. Mom's still pretty doped up so she's mainly thankful they know what's going on. I wouldn't be surprised that she's been prepared for some bad news for the past few years because she's been in a lot of pain on a daily basis.
