I guess I mean that "designer" sizes are most accurate, and that I probably wouldn't be a solid 2 in those.
It really is interesting to see how many people of different shapes and sizes can be the same size in clothing.
I'm nervous about how things will bounce back after number 2 bc I've heard it can be a lot harder :?.
I don't think there is such a thing as true sizing anymore, and most people wouldn't recognize it anyway since all mainstream brands are guilty of vanity sizing.
I am sure you will have no trouble bouncing back. I was able to lose the weight and get back into my regular clothes quickly each time, but getting fit and toned did take a little longer each time. But I am also not as strict about my diet as I used to be, and my workouts often get interrupted or cut short by one or more kid. lol.
12-14 depending on the clothing. I am at my "regular weight" or what my average had been in the last 5 years right now, but right before having addy, I was 15 lbs lighter and extremely happy with my body. June was the month of giving up pop, July has been hitting the gym for 5 classes per week, and August will be tracking on MFP.

I look my best at 6/8 but I had gotten up to 10/12 before getting pregnant. I gained about 10 lbs dealing with infertility too. I haven't gained too much with the pregnancy. I am due next week and up about 28 lbs. I hope to be able to get back to the 8/10 range at some point.

I am a solid 4, 5' 3" and small boned so I definitely don't look skinny. Before kids, I did more cardio less strength. So I was thinner at at 4 but less toned. Now I have a bigger rib cage and am wider overall but I am more toned. Worst thing is that I have never had a bikini body. Even at 115, I had a bit of a belly.
I'm 5'3" and currently a size 10. Two years ago, I was a 2. I am not taking this well - but I also can't seem to knock it off with the cheesesteaks and pies.
Eta: I'm pretty sure I'm never seeing a 2 again. I'd like to split the difference and hang out at a 6. That sounds like a very acceptable compromise to me.
Did anyone get back to their former size after pregnancy? I mean, within a year or two or whatever. Or should I start budgeting for a whole new wardrobe now?
I was a 14 before pregnancy. I am now a large 10 or small 12.
This was a pleasant side effect of having gestational diabetes.
In women's sizes a 0 or XS. In juniors I was a size 0 but after my third baby I currently wear a size 1 or 3 in juniors. My hips got a little wider and my butt's a little bigger which I'm perfectly fine with.

I did the first time. I was up 5 lbs, but still in my old size. I'm only 3 months out now, so only time will tell. I'm having way more issues with will power this time around.
ETA: It took 7 months the first time because I did little to encourage the weight to come off.

I'm a 4/6 when I'm not pregnant. Pregnant, I'm an 8/10.
RexManningDay - After J, I did get back to my pre-pregnancy size. Took me 9 months, but the majority of the weight was lost in the first 2 months PP. About 90% of my clothes fit, but I had a couple of very fitted pencil skirts that never zipped all the way up again. My waist will never be the exact size it was before pregnancy. But again, the vast majority of my clothing fit and I was far from having to buy a new wardrobe. We'll see what happens this time around.
I basically refuse to go to the doctor until I lose 20lbs LOL. I mean, if I am *sick* I'll go. But otherwise, nothankyou.
Totally understand! I went to my doctor for a bladder infection in May and she fat shamed me. She was all, blah, blah blah, BMI, blah, blah, weight chart but what I heard was "Big Fat Fatty" . She also walked me out to reception and made me an appointment for January so I'm on a deadline......damn....
Dude, I do not tolerate this shit anymore. A couple weeks after I switched to the NuvaRing, I started getting really strange pain one of my legs. I had also developed daily severe migraines with auras after never having auras in my life, and my blood pressure skyrocketed. So, I went to the urgent care because the nurse line was like "yeah, we are concerned about stroke risk sooo....". I specified that I was there because I had recently changed birth control and developed these symptoms. LITERALLY the only thing the doctor addressed in that visit was that I "needed an exercise program". She said NOTHING else to me. I was running 20 miles a week at the time + lifting weights. All my symptoms vanished when I went back to my old birth control. I have vowed to legitimately walk out of a doctors office the next time they try to address my weight like that.

I'm a 4. I was a 12 October past, and was a 4 by March. I'm 5'3" @ 110, 150 before I lost weight.
When I had ds at 19/20, I lost all 50 pounds (yup) within about four/five months.
I had twins at 31 and it took four years to lose the same 40-50 pounds
My dh texted me a pic of myself when my girls were about. 1 and it took me a minute to realize I was looking at myself I've always been slim, it was like whoa to see it. He sent it after I lost weight. I think I would've set his shit on fire if he sent it while I was still carrying the extra weight.

I did, I lost all the weight and then some. I breastfed for a year, then I put on a ton of weight when I stopped because I kept eating like I was still bfing. I am now back to where I was pre-pregnancy, but it took awhile. I love food.
This is me. I didn't gain a ton while pregnant so I was back in my pre-pregnancy clothes quickly. Then I stopped breast feeding when DD turned 1 and gained 15-20 pounds over the next year. Just starting to work to lose it.
I'm a 0-2. I'm short and on the petite side. But what's weird is that this is the thinnest I have ever been and it was after my second kid when I got down to my lightest weight and have kept the weight off. She's 4 now. Before kids I was probably a 4.

Wow impressive! What did you do to lose the weight?
My weight is like a yo-yo. I was skinny to the point of scrawny growing up. Then, I gained a bunch of weight when I was pregnant with my oldest. Lost most of it, got pregnant with my son, got down to 122lbs for my wedding. Stayed at that weight for a year while TTC, then got pregnant with LO and am now a size 10/12, but lately mostly 12. I carry most of my weight in my mid-section and ass, which is a pain when trying to find a dress to wear. I wish some of my weight went to my boobs, but nope.
