I'm so sick of pg insomnia. I need this kid out soon. Except now I'm starting to get anxiety about having 2 kids. It sounds like such a good idea in theory until you get close to actually being a mom of 2. I know it will be fine. Dh is an awesome dad and so hands on. It's just scary.

I am just lying here waiting to go into labor. I'll probably have to go to work instead. I was 4.5cm and 75% at my appt Wednesday morning, and the dr seemed convinced I would go at any time, and gave me instructions for fast labor.
We decided DH could be off work bc he works 45 min from home, which is 45 from the hospital still, and works 2nds, so if I went into labor in the evening, I'd be alone with DD.
I work 10 min from the hospital. Work is totally going to be annoying later today. How much longer can I really stay dilated like this and not be in labor? Maybe don't tell me.
I really need DS to sleep!!! He fell asleep in his swing around 7:30 last night, while I was out running errands. He stayed there until about 10:00, when DH carried him upstairs. We changed him in to Pjs and a new diaper, nursed and put him in the RNP. He slept for 2 hours. I nursed him, bsck to the RNP. He slept for 2 more hours. Tried the paci, but that just led to nursing him. 45 minutes later. Back up at 5, nursing again. I'm so tired! There's just so much going on right now and it's going to be so busy right up until I go back to work in a week and a half.
Is it weird that I'm looking forward to going back to work because it will force things to calm down and fall into place?

No, I get it. I keep thinking that daycare will help establish a napping routine and bedtime.
badtzmaru22 I was 6cm 90% for the 4 weeks before I gave birth. My OB was sure I was going to go early. But nope, DS stayed put until the day before my due date. So you can be really dilated for a long time!

Do u have a big medicine ball you can sit on at work today??
Today was my first day not bringing my pump to work. I haven't pumped since last Monday, but I brought it with all last week just in case. It is so nice not feeling like a pack mule!
And another first, tonight I'm sleeping without a bra for the first time in a year. Livin' on the edge, right here.
I can't wait to sleep without a bra one day! Hope you had a great (bra less!) sleep!
What is up, people. I am having a fabulous day. I bought 2 pairs of shoes at dsw (@hannymaren) and a momly bathing suit from Land's end. Ate at Sbarro, Outback, Starbucks, and got cheesecake from the factory. Lol.
These lime-a-ritas really are massive. Seriously, what is up with that?
This post cracked me up. You are truly living the american dream :-)

Ugh!! I told DH THIS is why I didn't get checked the last two weeks. I'm 40w today, so who knows how long I've already been dialated like this.
I am at work. I'm watching our mandatory corporate compliance slideshow, which I'm 100% sure everyone else scrolls through and signs off on. I'm going to be very compliant!

My tailbone has been killing me for weeks, so I've been sitting on an air cushion I got when I had DD. It's not quite like a big exercise ball, but it's squishy, and I can rotate my hips on it a bit.
