I have a friend who works there. She is 100% no-kids-ever, and one of the reasons she loves it there is because it's not family-friendly, with the work hard-play hard mentality.

I have friends that work there too. It's not family friendly at all. My one friend didn't even have kids and she quit it was just too stressful and not at all what she wanted for her work life balance. My other friend that works there works until almost 9pm every night and is lucky to see his daughter on weekends. He lives his job so he still works there and they ship their daughter off to grandma's four days a week and she stays overnight, so he wouldn't be seeing her anyway. Works for them but it's not what I would want for my family.

Ditto everything here. We have friends who work there, and they say that people who don't live and breathe their job wouldn't really survive long-term. My H was considered for a position there, but he turned it down for those reasons.
