I looked high and low for a bed frame for C's big girl twin bed. I finally found one I liked got the damn thing painted (gold, it's beautiful) and just loaded it into her room and realized THE FUCKING THING IS A FULL SIZE AND I DIDN'T NOTICE UNTIL NOW. I am so mad. I do this shit all of the time - it feels like I can't manage to not screw stuff up.

We have a full mattress in our guest room that I could use BUT the whole reason I got the frame is that my MIL bought her a Sofia the First bedding set and so I would have to replace that (I have planned the rest of the room around those colors and theme) and then we would have to find a replacement for the often used guest bed.

Can you exchange the set? Set up a twin bed in the guest room and have your kid sleep there when guest come, freeing up the big bed? Use the new frame in the guest bed and keep looking for a twin frame? You'll figure it out, and I'm sure it looks great!
A Sofia bed set is good for no one. Return the set, buy some full size Sofia sheets and get a comforter that everyone loves.
Sadly she loves the damn thing and has been using the set for a few months now while I was searching for the right bed frame. If any good can come out of this it's that I can give the twin bed and sheets to a woman I work with who's house burned down earlier this month.
Hey, remember that time I ordered too-short curtains and had the pleasure of buying them all over again?
You have my sympathy.
Or the time I washed the bedroom curtains and dried them without thinking and they shrank 2 inches. I love throwing money away...
L pooped on her curtains as a newborn so I washed them. They shrunk. So we had one shrunk curtain out of 4 before tr kid even turned 2 mos. It was amazing.

Poop gets on curtains?? I should just prepare myself for poop everywhere, huh?
We were changing her and it shot a good 2-3 feet. We are still scarred.
